<p><strong>LANCASTER |</strong> A dominating defense was a huge part of Indian Land's success in a 34-7 victory over Eastside on a cold Friday night.</p>

<p>A dominating first drive set the tone for what was a good night for the Indian Land offense. That first drive was 14 plays, 72 yards and took just under nine minutes off the clock.</p>

<p><strong>Elijah McMahan</strong> then returned the ensuing kickoff 88 yards for Eastside and tied things up.</p>

<p>That was all the scoring for Eastside, as they could not get anything going on offense the rest of the evening.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1592288' first='Jamol' last='Horton']</strong> was the lead rusher for Indian Land with 116 yards and two touchdowns. Horton (pictured) was happy with his own efforts despite being banged up.</p>

<p><strong>James Odom</strong> WR | Odom caught four passes for 42 yards and was highly targeted throughout the game.</p>

<p><strong>Jonaire Green</strong> DB | Green was in on several pass breakups, as well as forcing and recovering a fumble to keep Indian Land out of the end zone right before the end of the third quarter.</p>

<p><strong>Mal Brown</strong> RB | Brown collected 40 all-purpose yards (23 rushing, 17 receiving)</p>
