Week Ten Scouting Report

It's the final week of the regular season in Arkansas. It's a must-win week for some teams, and wins are necessary in seeding and playoff appearances. Last week, plenty of talent was on display, high-scoring games were played, and more. Our weekly scouting reports will continue to include detailed analyses of key players to monitor for the week in question, potential risers, or promising prospects who may not have garnered significant attention thus far and should watch as the season grows. Here are seven prospects to watch:    [player_tooltip player_id='1451011' first='Buddah' last='Harris'] is an athletic wide receiver who can become a vertical threat and can stretch the field. Harris displays a quick release due to good acceleration and foot quickness. He can create separation off breaks due to good change of direction, balance, and burst. He's also a threat after the catch, where he showcases his elusiveness to make defenders miss in space. Last week, in the first half, Harris racked in two receptions for 55 yards and two touchdowns. They face Piggott at home in the regular season finale. When working through his zone, he showcases good change of direction and lateral agility. Norah demonstrates solid read-and-react ability when attacking downhill vs. the run or arriving at the catch point to force a PBU or INT. He also has solid angles and physicality at the point of attack when in pursuit of the ball carrier. They face Drew Central on the road this week. Cox displays solid vision post-snap to locate the running lane and accelerate through the hole. He's a lengthy strider, out running second level linebackers consistently. As a receiver, he showcases good hand-eye coordination and body control to adjust mid-route and keep his stride post-catch. They face Prescott at home this week. He's consistently making plays at the LOS. His good lower body strength and power allow him to bull rush. Williams plays with a high motor, playing till the whistle. They face Pulaski Academy on the road this week. Fulks displays good acceleration off his release with good foot quickness to eat up space quickly and get to the stem of his route. He also demonstrates the ability to create separation off his breaks due to good change of direction, balance, bend, and burst. He has good hand-eye coordination, body control, and strong hands that allow him to catch vs contest, adjust mid-route, or high-point the football. They face Camden Fairview on the road this week. Anderson displays good post-snap vision to read the defensive front with patience to follow blockers and then attack the hole with good upfield burst. Through contact, he showcases good contact balance, body control, and leg drive to break tackles and gain positive yards. On inside/outside zone runs, his patience, burst, and vision are beneficial, as he can locate cut-back lanes and reach the second level quickly. Chatmon is a hybrid prospect who can line up inside the box, at Nickel, or out on the boundary because of his good athletic ability. Chatmon displays a sideline-to-sideline motor with good angles when in pursuit. He showcases good change of direction, foot speed, lateral agility, and balance. Chatmon can shed blocks consistently due to staying square at the POA, good hand placement, and keeping his eyes in the backfield to shed and make a tackle at the LOS, in space, or in the backfield. Overall, good read and react ability in coverage, breaking on a route quickly or sticking to his zone.
