SATX Area Upperclassmen Ball Carriers: Playoff Edition

These ball carriers have been huge parts of their team's success in the postseason, and they look to continue their run to the state title. We have all ends of the spectrum of running backs in this piece, and each one is instrumental to their respective offense. Texas high school football playoffs are like none other in the nation, so keep an eye out for these young men.    With nearly 1500 rushing yards on the season, Junior Running Back [player_tooltip player_id='237808' first='Jackson' last='Regan'] has continually showcased his innate ability to tote the rock. Regan is a North/South runner who can make you miss or just run you over to get where he wants to be. This young man has also showcased his ability to pile up yards after catch out of the backfield with over 200 yards receiving on the year with 4 touchdowns. If you combine that with his 18 rushing touchdowns and over 6 yards per carry, Jackson will look to make his mark in the 3rd round of the playoffs against the Harlan Hawks.   @jacksonregann     The 1000+ yard Junior Running Back from Alamo Heights makes his presence felt early and often when the Mules take the field. Garza is a multifaceted back with the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, beat you with quickness and agility, or punish you straight up between the tackles. DK and the Mules will have their hands full with a solid Miller defense this weekend in the Alamodome, but with Garza ripping off over 12 yards per carry with 20 rushing touchdowns on the season, it should make for an exciting contest.   @DK_Garza_21     The junior from Steele is a grown man on the football field. The 6'1 215 pound Oklahoma commit is having a great season, averaging 9 yards per carry. I'd compare him to a Mack Truck, but that doesn't do him any justice with his 10.6 100-meter speed. Hatton is a STUD! The Steele Knights have the ability to make it to the State Finals this year and this 1000+ yard back has been a huge factor in what the defensive coordinators are game planning for. This leads to opening up the offense for the Knights and that's when all his D1-caliber teammates chip in to light up scoreboards. This young man is built to play on Saturdays, time will tell, but he looks like someone we'll see on Sundays as well. Sorry, not sorry!   @JHattonJr28     Jah is fast! I'm talking 4.3 laser timed Forty, fast! The senior from Southwest High School in San Antonio uses his speed to his advantage, popping off for big gains and getting to the edge to rip off long runs. Mills has run for nearly 800 yards on over 5 yards per clip and that has helped propel the Dragons offense into the third round of the playoffs. This young man is shifty and get up the field. He has all of the attributes to play at the next level as well. So with the track and football speed, keep an eye out for him on Saturdays.   @JahMCMills     Adrien has been instrumental in the Harlan Hawks' offensive rushing attack, accumulating over 800 yards rushing, over 7 yards per carry, and 10 touchdowns. Mcdade is a very elusive running back with the ability to run inside as well as outside the tackles. Don't let the size fool you; this young man is slippery and powerful and has shown it against some great 6a schools. He looks to make his mark again in the third round of the playoffs against San Antonio Southwest at Texas State University.
