He's a quick twitched runner with good vision and tight windows, cutback ability and has true downfield speed with separation. He's a very balanced back that runs behind his pads with natural forward lean and leg drive-through contact while showing you can make defenders miss in the hole and force bad angles in the open field. Although suffering a tough final loss of his prep career against Monterey Trail on Friday night, he still had a stellar performance that kept his team in the game for most of the night. Thomas rushed for 160 yards and 3 scores, while averaging over 7 yards per carry and bringing his season rushing total to over the 1,200 yard marker with 17 touchdowns and another 100 yards receiving with 1 score. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Thomas is one of the most accomplished SJS rushers we have seen in recent memory, and has amassed over 4,400+ rushing yards and 60+ touchdowns in his prep career. He has a live arm downfield with elite placement and the ball jumps out of his hands with a quick release in his motion. He is one of the most under-recruited passers across the region, and is looking to be a clear late steal for a college program as we approach the first national signing day. In the first round of the playoffs against Kimball, he had an outstanding showing where he went for 264 yards rushing and 2 scores in a lopsided 32-7 win over the Tracy school. Moore is a no-brainer next level kid with huge upside and growth potential at multiple positions, and should be a multi-offer kid by this time next year. He is a very balanced runner that can get downhill quickly, or bounce it outside the tackles when needed and has a strong initial burst and runs behind his pads, seemingly always getting the tough yards. In a multi-score victory Friday, he ran for over 260 yards and 4 scores, while tacking another 28 yards receiving with another score. He is closing in on the 1,000 yard rushing mark heading into the second round and has a good shot at getting it done against Sutter on Friday night. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
