Round one recap: We evaluated several impressive prospects based on their performance on the defensive side of the ball from Friday night. He's a dynamic player who can make plays all over the field. Brownlee played sideline-to-sideline, showcasing his impressive motor with good angles. His night resulted in 11 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 quarterback hurry in their round-one victory. Brownlee displays good read-and-react ability, putting himself in a position to make a tackle in space or arrive at the catch point. He attacks and fills gaps while staying square and having good physicality at the POA. Redman displays good quickness and pursuit ability, allowing him to shoot through gaps and chase down ball carriers effectively. He has good read-and-react skills, enabling him to attack downhill with precise angles or drop back into coverage to secure his zone. When playing on the edge, he demonstrates a quick burst off the snap and effectively uses his hands to shed blockers and make plays in the backfield.
