Region 1: Top c/o 27 RB's This Season

With the 2024 season coming to an end, I'm doing a postseason analysis for Running Back prospects from every Classification/District/Region in Florida. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Howard Dewitt- Melbourne Central Catholic    6'0    DeWitt has good acceleration, agility, and some wiggle to make defenders miss. He also runs with good power and balance.   STATS: 98 carries for 930 yards and 6 touchdowns.       2. Kamren McMillan- FAMU DRS   McMillan, an all-purpose back from FAMU DRS High, is a really good pure football player who plays on both sides of the ball. Big-time prospect coaches need to take notice. Unfortunately he doesn't have any Hudl film to evaluate.   STATS: 145 carries for 878 yards and 6 touchdowns.       3. Sam Wood– Foundation Academy    5'10 170lbs    Wood is a very quick back who makes decisive cuts and shows good open-field running ability, darting in and out of traffic.   STATS: 126 carries for 779 yards and 9 touchdowns.       4. Aaron Truedell– Lakeland Christian    5'9 162lbs   Truedell has a compact build and does a good job of picking his way through the hole. He shows the speed to get outside to the numbers and will lower his shoulder and run through tacklers if necessary. He shows cutback vision, good balance, and speed.   STATS: 61 carries for 663 yards and 9 touchdowns.       5. Arius Burt- North Florida Christian    5'7 160lbs   Burt runs with a naturally low center of gravity, accelerates through the hole quickly and can pick up chunks of yards. He shows good lateral agility and vision.   STATS: 122 carries for 578 yards and 7 touchdowns.       6. [player_tooltip player_id='1870798' first='Mack' last='Mitchell']- Evangelical Christian    6'0 195lbs   Mitchell has a gliding running style and shows good feet in the hole. He has good vision, makes quick decisions, and gets upfield.   STATS: 84 carries for 559 yards and 7 touchdowns.       7. [player_tooltip player_id='417666' first='Arwin' last='Jackson']- Chaminade-Madonna High    5'9 170lbs   Jackson runs with a lot of juice and has great speed. He consistently outruns defenders and gets to the edge with ease. He has very good vision and cutback ability. Anytime he touches the ball he has the ability to take it to the house.   STATS: 66 carries for 541 yards and 6 touchdowns.       8. Ashton Mobley- St. John Paul II    5'9 165lbs   Mobley has good lateral quickness and agility. He shows very good vision and make-you-miss ability in space.   STATS: 108 carries for 472 yards and 4 touchdowns.       9. [player_tooltip player_id='445321' first='Jaelyn' last='Powell']- The First Academy    5'9 186lbs   Powell is a smooth runner with good vision, balance, and acceleration. He does an excellent job setting up his blocks and eluding defenders; despite his size, he will drop his shoulder and run through tacklers.   STATS: 44 carries for 415 yards and 5 touchdowns.       10. Noah Flores- Melbourne Central Catholic    5'7 165lbs   Flores's strengths are speed, acceleration, and the ability to elude direct hits. He shows very good balance, vision, and when he sees the hole, he will stick his foot in the ground and get upfield in a hurry.   STATS: 47 carries for 414 yards and 6 touchdowns.
