<p>The Kansas Class of 2027 Prep Redzone rankings were updated this morning. The rankings now include 210 athletes and more than 60 new prospects.</p>

<p>Here is a look at five athletes making their debuts in the rankings</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1522503' first='Zac' last='Zimmerman'],</strong> QB, 5'11”, 165, Trinity Academy, '27</p>

<p>Zimmerman is having an outstanding season and debuts in the rankings at No. 150. Through nine games he has thrown for 2,668 yards and 24 touchdowns. He has a quick release, can throw the deep ball, and is starting varsity games at a young age. He will be an athlete that college coaches will want to watch closely for the next two seasons.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1528042' first='Mar' last='Barnett'],</strong> DL, 5'8”, 242, Hayden, ‘27</p>

<p>Barnett is a physical defensive lineman who can dominate the line of scrimmage. He enters the rankings at No. 151 overall. Through nine games he has collected 27 total tackles. He is solid against the run and defeats double teams. He is young and will improve as his skills and strength increase.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1338293' first='Will' last='Textor'],</strong> DL, 6'1”, 250, St. Thomas Aquinas, ‘27</p>

<p>The Saints are loaded with talent in all four classes. A sophomore to watch down the road is defensive lineman Textor. He debuts in the rankings at No. 152. He has quick feet and delivers a hard blow. He wraps up on tackles and eats up space freeing up his linebackers.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1475567' first='Kaelin' last='Scarth'],</strong> OL, 6'3”, 250, Derby, ‘27</p>

<p>Scarth is a physical lineman on one of the top teams in the state. Scarth debuts in the No. 153 slot. The Panthers are averaging over 53 points per game this season and Scarth and the lineman have been doing heavy work.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1525141' first='Jaxon' last='Pendell'],</strong> K/P, 5'10”, 180, Rock Creek, ‘27</p>

<p>Pendell is a key specialist for the Mustangs and enters the rankings at No. 154. So far this season he has converted on 35-of-36 extra point attempts and was successful on his lone field goal attempt. He has been the primary kickoff man for Rock Creek and has recorded 23 touchbacks. He is the backup punter this season but has averaged 39.3 yards on three punts.</p>
