Queen City Senior Bowl: Offensive Linemen

The Queen City Senior Bowl is an annual All-Star game in the Charlotte Metro Area which honors 80 of the best football players from surrounding high schools. Proceeds from the game benefit the Metro School, which teaches and develops kids with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. The game is in its 6th season of service to the Charlotte Community. This article will feature the Offensive Linemen selected to play in the All-Star Game.    Justin is one of the more powerful interior offensive linemen in the Charlotte Metro Area. Head Coach Sam Greiner called Justin the 2nd best offensive lineman he's ever coached, with the first one currently in the NFL. Justin helps set a physical tone up front with road-grading run blocking ability where he plays to the echo of the whistle. Justin has helped lead the Lions to the 3rd Round of the Playoffs where they are going on the road to face Asheville Erwin.     Jackson has excellent size and a physical frame to become a major offensive line steal for a college at this point in the recruiting season for the Class of 2025. Jackson currently has offers from Catawba and Campbell, and he has been one of the most steadying players for a Hopewell program that has been trying to build itself up over the past several seasons.     In the run-heavy Cougars offense, Conor is a mountain-mover up front. Committed to play college football at Ithaca College, Conor is a very technically sound player who comes off the football with bad intentions. Conor is a tough player and a leader who moves his feet well and can be counted on when run behind in critical situations. Conor has helped lead the Cougars to the 3rd Round of the playoffs where they are preparing to face a strong team in the Grimsley Whirlies.     At 6'2 and 270 Pounds, Christian is a team captain and has an offer from Roanoke College. Watching Christian's film is a lot of fun if you love dominant offensive line play – Christian is a very aggressive player in the run game who lives for pancaking defensive linemen and being consistently physical at the point of attack. Christian has the ability to play either center or guard on the next level.     An All-County selection last season, Drew is a big reason why Mooresville is having a very strong season offensively & overall. Drew's ability to snap, step, and then fit/drive on a shaded technique in the run game is impressive. In pass blocking, Drew does a good job of stunting a defensive lineman's charge with a strong punch & good base. Drew has helped lead the Blue Devils into the 3rd Round of the playoffs where they will face off against East Forsyth on the road.     The first thing you have to say about Cass is his impressive size at 6'6 and 295 pounds. Cass has an offer from Lenoir-Rhyne University and is impressive at both guard and tackle. Cass can get out into space and block 2nd and 3rd-level defenders with ease. In the run game, Cass loves to push guys around and be physical. Cass is a strong pass blocker also, with the ability to mirror pass rushers well with good footwork in his pass sets.     Diantae is the captain of the Huskies' offensive line, and he does a great job in run blocking, working 1st and 2nd level, and being physical. Diantae is also a strong pass blocker from his guard position, not allowing penetration from defensive tackles who attempt to bullrush him. Diantae stands at 6'1 and 280 pounds overall. Diantae has helped lead the Huskies into the 3rd round of the playoffs in a rematch against conference rival Mallard Creek.     Xavier is a 6'1 275-pound lineman who currently has an offer to play college football at Livingstone. Xavier is a strong player at the point of attack who excels in pass protection with a good base and excellent footwork. Xavier also does well in the running game, fitting his hands on the inside frame and driving defensive linemen off of the football. Xavier has also recently picked up offers from Brevard College and Virginia University-Lynchburg.     Miguel is a 6'1 280-pound lineman who can either play guard or tackle. Miguel is a strong player who both squats and deadlifts over 500 pounds. Miguel does well in a zone-based scheme, working combo blocks and climbing next level effectively in the running game. Miguel also does a great job of staying in front of defenders in pass protection.     At 6'6 and 240 pounds, Nolan has a physical frame that college coaches will get excited about. Nolan has offers from Hampden-Sydney College and Concord University. Nolan is a very athletic left tackle who is technically sound and excels in both the run game and pass protection. Nolan does a great job in mirroring pass rushers especially. Nolan helped lead the Mavericks to the 2nd Round of the playoffs this season before they bowed out in a very close game against Northern Guilford.     Jordan has helped lead the Mavericks to the 3rd Round of the playoffs where they face a rematch against conference rival Hough. Jordan is a very strong player who has shown positional versatility this season along the offensive line, playing center and tackle this season. Jordan has a dominant mentality and plays to the echo of the whistle, which sets the tone for how the Mavericks like to dominate the line of scrimmage offensively with their running game.     At 6'5 and 280 pounds, Kayon recently received his first offer from St. Andrews University. Kayon has excellent size and athleticism as an offensive tackle – he bends well and can get out in space on the 2nd and 3rd level. Kayon does a good job in pass protection, showing good technical skills in pass protection and very good overall strength. Kayon has also recently received offers from Minnesota West JUCO and Virginia University-Lynchburg.     Sidiq committed to play college football at Johnson C. Smith University earlier this season, and they are getting a strong player on the interior of the offensive line. The Patriots had a strong running game all season long, and Sidiq excels at run blocking against interior defensive linemen. Sidiq also doesn't give ground in pass protection from his guard position, stonewalling defenders at the line of scrimmage in pass protection.     Wyatt is a 6'4 300-pound lineman that has a 4.4 GPA. Wyatt currently has offers from St. Andrews University, Chowan University & Savannah Prep. Wyatt is an excellent fit & drive lineman who excels in the run game. Wyatt also shows athleticism to pull & get into space in the run game as well. Wyatt is a strong pass blocker on the line of scrimmage. Wyatt also recently has received an offer from Bluefield State University.
