With the rankings being updated shortly for each class, we will take a look at a few of Washington's top athletes this season. These individuals can be expected to make a nice jump up the rankings board. Here we will analyze the GSHL and KingCo Crest & Crown League, with more updates from other conferences coming soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568781' first='Jake' last='Arens'] 26' 6-3 225 TE Eastlake

Arens is a big physical kid that can run. He was one of the KingCo's breakout athletes, grabbing 1st team all-conference TE honors. Look for him to make a nice jump on the rankings board.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568792' first='Parker' last='Heeter'] 27' 6-4 215 TE Liberty

You have to like this kid's size and potential projection. As a sophomore the multi-sport standout garnered 1st team all KingCo honors at TE, catching 16 passes for 158 yards and 3 TD's (17.6 yards per catch).

[player_tooltip player_id='1568782' first='Adel' last='Dorr'] 26' 6-5 240 DE Issaquah

Expect to see Dorr skyrocket up the PRZ rankings board when updated. The 6-5 edge was a 1st team all-conference guy requiring a consistent double team if you wanted to contain him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568783' first='Myles' last='Johnson'] 26' 5-8 175 RB/CB Eastlake

One of the top two-way threats in Washington for the 2026 class. Johnson isn't the biggest kid, but he can beat most 1 on 1. He earned 2nd team all-conference honors on both sides of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568784' first='Scott' last='Corder'] 26' 6-0 180 WR Mount Si

Mount Si had a tough year at 3-7 but they do have some talented young guys coming up. Corder is an outstanding overall athlete (baseball) and did well at WR, racking up 2nd team all Kingco accolades.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530877' first='Tyallen' last='Edmon'] 27' 6-1 200 LB Skyview

One of the top sophomores in Washington. Edmon was all over the place this past year, going for 70+ tackles, 5 TFL's, 4 sacks and 2 INTs. Look for him to make a nice jump up the rankings board.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530871' first='Hayden' last='Ollmann'] 26' 5-10 190 LB Camas

Ollmann is having a 1st team all-state type season as a junior, putting up some ridiculous #s. His 10+ tackles per game (112 overall) speak to that. The 5-10 LB should have been a 1st team all GSHL selection.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568793' first='David' last='Dudko'] 27' 6-2 200 LB Skyview

One of Washington's breakout performers this past season. Dudko has a legit frame and will team with [player_tooltip player_id='1530877' first='Tyallen' last='Edmon'] to rank as one of the NW's best LB duo's for 2027. He also earned 2nd team all GSHL honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530869' first='Hunter' last='Hixson'] 26' 6-1 195 LB Skyline

We've talked about Hixson multiple times over the last few months, being one of the state's statistical leaders as a junior. The talented LB averaged close to 10 tackles per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568794' first='Drenden' last='Knaevelsrud'] 27' 6-3 190 LB Mount Si

Knaevelsrud was the only sophomore in the KingCo- Crown conference to earn all-league honors (2nd). He has great size and the necessary frame to compete at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='726170' first='Azalius' last='Lopez-Zuko'] 26' 6-1 220 DE/LB Camas

We talked on Lopez earlier in the year with him being one of the top defenders in Washington for the 2026 class. He has been outstanding all season, earning 1st team all GSHL accolades and currently sitting with 21 tackles for loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568785' first='George' last='Tkachenko'] 26' 5-11 205 LB Battle Ground

Tkachenko was an under the radar athlete who excelled for the 3-6 Tigers. On the year he made 37 tackles, with 11 TFL's, and 6 sacks. His 1st team all-conference honors were even more impressive considering Battle Ground struggled.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568787' first='AJ' last='Morton'] 26' 6-0 185 DB Bellevue

Expect to hear a lot about Morton in the coming year. He has been one of the state's top 2026 DB's and a big reason the Wolverines are ranked the #1 team in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568788' first='Ryan' last='Carl'] 26' 6-4 240 T Union

I would expect Coach Pyne to get things turned around pretty quickly at Union. The 6-4 Carl will be a big part of the equation, returning as a 1st team all-league tackle.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568789' first='Thomas' last='Avery'] 26' 6-2 185 CB Battle Ground

BG has to be stoked with two 1st team all-conference defenders returning in Avery and [player_tooltip player_id='1568785' first='George' last='Tkachenko']. The big 6-2 corner did a great job on the year and will give them a chance next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568790' first='Emet' last='Ordway'] 26' 5-10 210 G Battle Ground

It was incredibly impressive for Ordway to do as well as he did as a 5-10 lineman, earning 1st team all GSHL honors. To say he played out of position would be a massive understatement.

[player_tooltip player_id='1568791' first='Spencer' last='Perley'] 26' 6-1 245 DE Camas

Perley is another underclassmen who they are excited to have returning next season. He earned 2nd team all-conference honors on D, averaging 3 tackles per game to go with 3 TFL's and 3 sacks on the year thus far.
