With the rankings being updated shortly for each class, we will take a look at a few of Oregon's top athletes this season. These individuals can be expected to make a nice jump up, or on to, the rankings board. Here we will analyze the TRL, Mt Hood, and Metro League with more updates from other conferences coming soon.

*No Particular Order

[player_tooltip player_id='1566192' first='Jagar' last='Shean'] 25' G Lake O 6-4 250

Shean has been severely underrated and brings legit size to the table as well. He's a primary reason the Lakers have dominated up front, racking up 1st team all TRL accolades.

[player_tooltip player_id='1511443' first='Mataio' last='Olomua'] 25' RB Sandy 5-7 180

This kid was one of the best in 6A this season. Olomua went for over 200 on multiple occasions, going for double digit TD's, and racking up 1st team all Mt Hood accolades. He is a candidate for the Oregon breakout POY award.

[player_tooltip player_id='1103532' first='Riley' last='Van Deusen'] 25' OLB Lake O 6-3 205

Van Deusen could be a steal for some university. He earned 1st team all-league honors and moves well as a 6-3 outside backer. Him and fellow 2025 standout [player_tooltip player_id='285849' first='Oliver' last='Macy'] make up one of the best DE/OLB duos in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566162' first='Grady' last='Keljo'] 25' TE Jesuit 6-4 215

The 6-4 TE was somewhat of an unknown, but did have a very good senior year for the Crusaders, racking up 2nd team all-Metro honors. With his size he has a real chance at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1103533' first='David' last='Moore'] 25' CB Lakeridge 6-1 180

You have to like Moore's size and versatility. He was a 1st team all TRL corner while excelling on offense. He could definitely make an impact at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566164' first='Ry'Von' last='Reese'] 25' RB Tualatin 5-9 190

Definitely an under the radar kid. Reese can run and has power. He earned 2nd team all-conference honors and deserves a look collegiately.

[player_tooltip player_id='904354' first='Xavier' last='Harris'] 25' CB West Linn 5-11 165

Harris is a 1st or 2nd team all-state guy and one of the top DB's in Oregon. He earned 1st team all TRL honors and brought senior leadership to a young and super talented secondary.

[player_tooltip player_id='285877' first='Ayden' last='Hancox'] 25' DL Reynolds 5-10 270

Hancox has had a phenomenal career at Reynolds as a three-year starter & 2nd team all-conference D lineman. He's undersized for the position but brings pure talent to the table while doing well statistically.

[player_tooltip player_id='1103531' first='Kallen' last='Saffer'] 25' DL Oregon City 6-1 265

Saffer had an outstanding senior year, racking up 2nd team all TRL honors for an OC team that played one of the toughest schedules in the state. Look for smaller schools to be all over him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566169' first='Thatcher' last='O'Leary'] 25' LB Lake O 6-1 210

Credit to O'Leary as he has shown up big for the #1 Lakers this year. His 2nd team all TRL honors were well deserved. Look for him to make a nice jump on to the rankings board.

[player_tooltip player_id='1103990' first='Travis' last='Hull'] 25' RB/LB Reynolds 5-7 160

Hull has been one of the most impressive seniors in the state. The 5-7 160 pounder is tough as nails, earning 1st team all Mt Hood honors on both sides of the football. Even with the size I would be all over this kid if I'm a D2/D3.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566175' first='Eli' last='Shamoon'] 25' LB Barlow 6-2 190

Barlow didn't have a good year at 3-6 but Shamoon balled out, making his 1st team all-league honors that much more impressive. His 6-2 frame and overall ability is enticing from a recruitment standpoint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1200829' first='Peyton' last='Read'] 25' TE/DE Westview 6-6 225

Read had one of the better seasons of any athlete in the Metro League. Separate from being one of the top TE's in the state, he was a tear and much needed help coming off the edge for the Wildcats. He earned 1st team all-Metro honors at DE.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566177' first='Samuel' last='Longi'] 25' OL Barlow 6-3 310

Longi came in and did a great job for the Bruins up front after earning all-conference honors for David Douglas the year before. The 6-3 310 pounder is a force on the interior and could be a steal for some university who could develop him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566181' first='Tanner' last='Saxe'] 25' S Nelson 5-10 190

Nelson was a top 10 6A team with the likes of UW commit [player_tooltip player_id='527045' first='Dominic' last='Macon'], QB [player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl'], and 2026 standout [player_tooltip player_id='1110921' first='Chaz' last='Katoanga'] leading. Saxe was clutch all year complimenting those guys nicely and grabbing 2nd team all Mt Hood accolades from his Safety spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1104042' first='Soren' last='Gaston'] 25' DL/OL Jesuit 6-2 275

One of the most impressive and versatile lineman in Oregon this season. There are very few big men who earn 1st team all-league honors on both sides of the football at the 6A level, and he did just that. Gaston will likely be an all-state selection as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1104041' first='Max' last='Spear'] 25' DB Beaverton 6-0 170

The Beavers struggled again at 2-7, making Spear's play that much more admirable. The 6-0 DB helped keep his team in multiple games alongside 2026 standout [player_tooltip player_id='769925' first='Oliver' last='Luebkert']. He earned 1st team all-Metro accolades and could be a steal collegiately.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566186' first='Lincoln' last='Gernand'] 25' LB Clackamas 6-1 205

Not a lot of people are familiar with Gernand. That said as he was one of the better defenders in the Mt Hood earning 2nd team all-conference honors.
