Panama City Bay Has 2025 Prospects

Even though the 2024 season has ended for many, there are still seniors who are looking for a home.   While many understand that the transfer portal has played a major part in the recruiting process, there are still colleges who are looking to enhance their program.   While everyone dreams of playing at the Power 4 level, it is not realistic for some, and while people look at D2, D3 and NAIA as a lower brand of football, maybe they need to check out some the programs who compete at those levels.   NAIA programs such as Keiser University, who are ranked No. 1 in the country and are the defending national champions, are loaded with talent. So is St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens. West Florida, a Division 2 school, won the national title not too long ago and has players who continued to play after their college careers are over.   While many schools across Florida have several qualified players, Panama City Bay has a group of proven Class of 2025 prospects waiting for their chance.   Here are eight players to consider:   Jemerion Hall   WR/ATHLETE   6-2, 178   WHAT TO LIKE: As an offensive threat, he runs crisp patterns, has very good hands and concentrates on the ball. He is also a solid blocker, which is essential for a receiver to do, and college coaches love that. On defense, he reacts quickly to the ball and is a good tackler. His cover skills are also very good.   TAPE: <a>https://www.hudl.com/profile/16108369/Jemerion-Hall</a>   Taurean Hill   CB/WR   6-1, 160   WHAT TO LIKE: While he is a major contributor on offense as a pass-catching receiver who can do so much, he also gets it done on defense as a cover corner with plenty of skills and reaction. Anticipates very well. He is also a solid kick returner who can make things happen and open doors to the next level. As a cover corner, he will get on a receiver and make it difficult to come up with catches, especially up field. He is also someone you don't want to run on. He is a strong tackler who reads plays. In the classroom, he also is impressive with a 3.5 GPA. As a quarterback, he throws the ball well, but that added dimension of being able to run is something that gives him an edge. As a rush end on defense, he is long, athletic and strong, overwhelming offensive linemen. His work in the classroom (4.3 GPA) is also very impressive and says a lot about him. He is textbook in the way he handles himself – from reading and reacting to making plays that disrupt the opposing team's offense. Solid prospect who can play in the middle or outside. He will fit needs at the next level. A very physical “big man” who moves around the field very well for a player his size. On defense, he is quick off the ball and uses his strength and leverage to overpower offensive linemen. Offensively, you can see how much he has learned from the technical side. He has a 3.2 GPA and is part of the AICE Program Take Stock and, in the FSU Pre, Collegiate Program. As a running back, which should be his primary position at the next level, he has tremendous vision and gets through the hole in a hurry – with an impressive burst. WHAT TO LIKE: From his slot receiver position, here is a gifted football player who will fight for every ball. He has sure hands, and while he is more of a possession pass catcher, he will break away if you are not careful. He also adds to the team with his ability to return kicks and punts on special teams.
