Carter showed off the sound athleticism we have been seeing all along as another 2025 on our rankings that I just cannot figure out why he doesn't have his first offer yet. He has shown consistency on tape with what we saw in our live-eval, as the 5'11 180 pounder is always is a right spot, right time kind of athlete which if we haven't mentioned his football IQ enough, here it is again. Offensively, Carter was again, consistent as he met with what we had seen on tape with his great hands he has in high traffic areas. Somehow Carter is another 2025 sleeper in my eyes.

It was mostly seen defensively, but Hawks 2026 athlete [player_tooltip player_id='477496' first='Jaxon' last='Narum'] made what I felt were under the radar plays during the 11AA Championship Game in the FargoDome. As one of the Hawks cornerbacks, he gave the Roughriders passing offense fits with his ball-tracking and instincts and several times caused them to take their chances somewhere else. Jaxon maybe didn't blow up the stat line, but he made several 1v1 reps that counted against the Roughriders receiving core by his sticky physicality he has. He showed off what looks like a corner at the next-level in my eyes.

They call him "Showtime" at West Fargo Horace and I would say that the 11AA Game MVP lived up to every ounce of that nickname giving the Hawks their first ever state championship. I would say too, that if I tossed out a Two-Way MVP from last Friday in all four games, my vote would be for [player_tooltip player_id='533097' first='Israel' last='Bauer']. The 5'11 11 155 pounder logged a pick six interception for 50-yards, led the Hawks in tackles, and had a crafty kickoff return where he showed off excellent patience. Israel was another Hawks athlete that took advantage of the small details that won't show up in the box score on offense. Do NOT underestimate this young man's size as he plays miles above his frame with his ball-tracking, pursuit angles, and finesse he plays with on every rep either side of the ball. He won Game MVP, and just picked up his first Divison I offer from Prairie View A&M (Texas) which is an intriguing HBCU school that I have never seen make an offer in the Dakotas. FCS coaches will surely want to track this kid over the coming handful of months as another stockriser from our 2026 rankings in North Dakota

Malachi lead the Eagles offense in yards and was second on the Eagles in the 11AAA state championship game for tackles at linebacker. The live eval had me impressed with how patient Malachi was with his vision and his sudden fluidity is tight rushing windows to get thru for his 5'11 205 pound frame. He also had the escapability to quickly invade the inside box with great durability and showing off the lower body that does not stop with his blue-collar running ability out of the Wing-T offense that Davies runs. This young man's work ethic will surely find him a next-level home on Saturdays as the athleticism draws me in either at linebacker or fullback, like his brother Gus (NDSU) at the next level.

What do we have here? Another North Dakota 2025 sleeper that balled in the state championship game on both sides of the ball? Time to hear about the live-eval I got on West Fargo Sheyenne ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1184872' first='Sully' last='Ihry']. Two receptions, 82 yards and one interception on defense I would give my nod for Two-Way MVP in the 11AAA State Championship game in Fargo. Sully impressed me with using his 5'11 185 pound strides that appeared long from what I watched, to get seperation on his receiving touchdown as you could gauge the athleticism Sully had to finish with his pull away speed, and even had time to find a teammate for a high five as he entered the end zone. Overall, the football IQ Sully has for both sides of the ball needs more attention by college coaches as the interception he had showed off an athlete that just knows where the ball is likely going pre-snap as he showed that from watching him in my eyes.
