Below is a look at some of the top North Jersey Quarterbacks in the state of New Jersey, who have their squads on the brink of league, state and/or national championships. While one of the QB1s are from Essex County and the other four are from Bergen County, there's no denying the ability these signal callers have displayed throughout the 2024 season.

Starting off in Essex County, I've had the name "Manny" down in my notes of prospects to check out, for literally weeks but wasn't able to find out what his last name was until today--and I'm glad I did. On film [player_tooltip player_id='1558872' first='Manny' last='Roberson Jr.'] is one of the most exciting dual-threat QB's I've come across in New Jersey for this 2029 class. While I don't have measurements on height and weight, his ability checks out. He looks like a Running Back on designed QB-keepers by running low to the ground and using acceleration and vision to pick up valuable yards. He also can step back and launch the ball down field to his plethora of weapons on the outside. As of this moment, he has led the Jackie Robinson Bears to a Newark Pop Warner championship and is just one win away from taking the Brick City-based program to the Pop Warner National Championship tournament. It should be noted that he's also the younger cousin of former DePaul Catholic All-State selection and current Kansas State QB Ta'Quan Roberson.

Off to Bergen County we go, to take a look at Northern Highlands Quarterback, Cole Vinci. The QB is at the helm of a NH team that currently sits 8-1, hasn't lost a game since the second week of September and is in the Northern Bergen Junior Football League championship this upcoming weekend (11/16). Vinci is a dual-threat kid with a bunch of athletic ability that makes him a tough one to stop. A dual-sport athlete, he also plays baseball at a high level and bats lefty despite throwing right-handed--on the diamond and on the gridiron. Despite missing three games with a concussion, he left his mark on North Jersey youth football and looks to add an exclamation point with the league title.

Staying in Bergen County, I don't care where you live or what program you are a part of, if there's a 6-foot-6, 190-pound eighth-grade Quarterback in your league...my money is on the tall QB1. Rudanovic has been nothing short of spectacular this season. As of this write up he has the Bergen County Stars 13U team a game away from winning the Big Tri State Conference. Rudanovic has been a verbal pledge to DePaul Catholic since this past summer and hasn't looked the least bit complacent in his play. Aided by a tremendous supporting staff at all positions, the eye-catching signal caller has been a steady and calming force for the Bergen County Stars all season long. With a ticket to the AYF National tournament in December already punched, the Stars will look to close out their regular season this weekend (11/16) against the LI Knights.

Since our last write up on Snee, he's officially shot up another inch to 6-foot-2 and has officially committed to play his high school ball at Bergen Catholic. Snee has his Franklin Lakes team absolutely humming to the tune of a 9-0 record as they are set to begin the playoffs and inch closer to their fifth-straight Tri County Youth Football League Championship. Individually, look, there's not many other ways to say that he's the best 2029 Quarterback in the state of New Jersey. This season alone he's completed 67/85 passes (79% completion percentage) while accounting for 35 total touchdowns with 13 rushing touchdowns. A stat line that becomes even more staggering when you see that he's only played a complete four-quarters in just one game this season. Just for good measure, to show off the type of crazy arm talent he has, Snee is also currently ranked the No.7 overall right-handed Pitcher in the country by Perfect Game. Already holding a verbal offer from Syracuse, he's the son of New York Giants Super Bowl Champion Offensive Guard, Chris Snee and Grandson of future NFL Hall of Famer, Tom Coughlin.

Contrary to the [player_tooltip player_id='1155914' first='Walker' last='Snee']'s write up above, sometimes the stat line doesn't tell the whole story. At first glance while looking at the regular season stats of [player_tooltip player_id='1371693' first='David' last='Ciliento Jr.'], his 19/23 (82% completion percentage) for 594 yards, 9 passing touchdowns and 3 rushing touchdowns, may look kind of mundane. However, when you figure that his Wood-Ridge Blue Devil team outscored opponents 252-12 in eight games, it should put in to context how little passing opportunities he had. Fast forward to this current write up and the Blue Devils sit 10-0 and are a game away from winning the Meadowlands Football League championship this weekend (11/6). He has become a hot commodity for some of the top private schools in North Jersey and the future is blindingly bright for the Bergen County native.
