The defensive back positions have some of the most versatile prospects in the state of Arkansas. In this article, we are going to highlight several defensive backs that have opened eyes this season. Each player, has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='466187' first='Kyndrick' last='Williams']-Defensive Back-Fayetteville-6'1” 185-Pounds-2026

The Fayetteville defensive back is a player that has the versatility to play multiple positions for the Bulldogs. He has tremendous range and does a great job of making plays on the ball. Williams possesses the speed to cause problems for opposing wide receivers. Earlier in the season, Williams placed his commitment with the University of Arkansas. He is a prospect to continue to watch out for as the postseason heats up next week.

[player_tooltip player_id='612846' first='Cash' last='Farris']-Safety-Alma-6'0” 185-Pounds-2025

Over the past few years, [player_tooltip player_id='612846' first='Cash' last='Farris'] has been one of the most consistent prospects in the secondary. He is a player who can punish opposing ball carriers with his tackles. Farris does a great job of separating the ball from the ball carrier. He has had a tremendous season for the Airedales this season. Through eight games, he has racked up 65 tackles, 6 pass breakups, 4 tackles for loss, and 1 interception. Farris is a player that has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='424570' first='Trevion' last='Greer']-Athlete-Riverview-5'8” 165-Pounds-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='424570' first='Trevion' last='Greer'] has exploded onto the scene from a production standpoint this season. Greer is a versatile player that is all over the field for Riverview. He has the speed to cause problems for opposing teams on both sides of the ball. Greer has the range to disrupt the passing game and cause incompletions in the process. He does a great job of playing the ball while it is in the air. Greer is a prospect to watch out for over the next year or so.

[player_tooltip player_id='264998' first='Marcus' last='Wimberly']-Defensive Back-Bauxite-6'1” 170-Pounds-2025

The Bauxite defensive back is one of the most versatile players in Arkansas. He can play extremely well on both sides of the ball. In the secondary, Wimberly is a prospect who will separate the ball from the ball carrier. The future Oklahoma Sooner has had a tremendous high school football career, and I expect more of the same at the next level. Wimberly has the ability to do well with the Sooners.

[player_tooltip player_id='428896' first='Josiah' last='Rainey']-Defensive Back-Sylvan Hills-6'0” 155-Pounds-2025

[player_tooltip player_id='428896' first='Josiah' last='Rainey'] opens plenty of eyes with his impressive speed. He has the range to make a play on the ball and disrupt the passing game. Rainey is another player that does not mind moving up to play the run. He has the ability to separate the ball from the ball carrier. Rainey will take a pass in the opposite direction. He has the versatility to play on both sides of the ball for Sylvan Hills. Rainey is a prospect to watch out for. He has the ability to play on Saturdays in the future.
