Arkansas HSFB 4A/3A Quarterfinals – Prospects to Watch

Arkansas high school football is in the quarterfinal round for Class 4A and 3A. The path to the state championship becomes clearer but more challenging than ever. Here are five prospects to watch during the quarterfinals. He demonstrates solid footwork and mechanics, with good ball placement and the ability to lead receivers through anticipation. Martin also shows solid use of his hands to read and react to blocks, enabling him to shed them effectively and make plays at the line of scrimmage or in the backfield. Additionally, he is able to generate pressure consistently. They face Mansfield on Friday night. Washington has good hand-eye coordination, body control, and strong hands, allowing him to adjust mid-route or high point the football while becoming a RAC threat. He displays solid post-snap vision at running back and locates the running lane with a good burst through the tackles. Overall, good contact balance and leg drive to break tackles consistently. They face Bismarck this week. Lacy plays with relentless effort from sideline to sideline, positioning himself well to make plays on the football. They face Monticello this week. Taylor shows good poise and footwork while standing in the pocket, allowing him to slide or step up to keep his eyes downfield. He demonstrates solid pocket mobility and post-snap awareness to evade pressure. His decision-making is sharp, and he has a strong command of the game. Taylor consistently achieves good ball placement at all levels of the field. Additionally, he can hurt opponents with his legs, showcasing his solid athletic ability.
