4A Offensive Stat Leaders

He throws dangerously an accurate corner and fade ball while in the pocket. He has threating acceleration on the run and the elusiveness to make defenders miss. He's passed for 1,615 yards, 15 touchdowns and only 3 int's, making him the leader in each category for the 4A class. His performance has led the Bruins to an 8-1 record and 2nd place in the region. In week 10 of the season Watkins and the Bruins challenge a championship caliber opponent in the Wise Pumas. Look for Watkins skills the guide him to victory in a tough battle before playoffs.       At first glance Vasi passes the eye test, already at 6'4 220lbs. He has the arm talent to make passes on the bottom of the numbers and put deep passes on the pylons. Hallas let it fly for 1,477 yards and 14 touchdowns, just tailing the 4A passing leader. Hallas possesses some wheels outside the pocket, enough to break off a 59-yard touchdown 176 yards and 5 other rushing scores.       Womack is a familiar name for me who's been on a steady rise since hitting the Prep RedZone scene in 2023. Last season he recorded 1500 yards and 14 touchdowns, this season he's already surpassed that in two less games. So far he has 1,643 yards and 22 touchdowns on the season with 8 100+ yards games. His most impressive performance was in week 3, where he had 25 carries for 315 yards and 2 touchdowns. Womack is a well-rounded back, he has big play speed, power to run right through weak tackles, and the elusiveness to be dangerous on special teams.       Bah is a big play machine for Paint Branch this season. The sophomore running back displays home run speed, agility, and elusiveness to make multiple players miss in the same play. Once he gets the edge he's as good as gone down the sideline but he is effective in between the tackles too. He uses his agility to cut and maneuver through the trenches and to manipulate blocks to break off big runs. This season Bah has 980 yards and 17 rushing touchdowns, on punt return he had 1 touchdown for 69 yards. With Bah currently being in his sophomore year expect for his recruiting to really pick up closer to next season, especially if he finishes the year off strong through the playoffs. Bah is a weapon the rest of the 4A class should fear for the next 2 years.       Smargissi is a sure handed mismatch, standing at 6'2 195lbs, he's a weapon across the middle and in the short pass game. The best part about getting him the ball early is that he racks up yards after the catch with ease. After the catch he's a strong north and south ball carrier with a burst to accelerate to top speed. Joey makes plays all over the field, he's a deep ball threat, dangerous across the middle and even utilized in the screen game. This season he has 521 yards and 5 touchdowns putting him at the top of the charts for our 4A receivers. Smith has always had acrobatic catch ability and an impressive catch radius, but he's added a few new skills since then. Smith's run after the catch ability improved to the point that he gets carries from the running back position. He runs physical unlike your typical receiver and more like a tailback. He possesses the speed to take short receptions for chunk gains and can take the top off of a defense. This season Smith leads 4A receivers with 7 touchdowns and even 2 rushing touchdowns to add to his overall total. For yardage he's currently recorded 413 yards on 28 receptions.
