Starting in Essex County, Cameron Thomas' game fits into the mold of a modern QB to a tee. A mobile-first quarterback, his running ability is his biggest weapon, allowing him to escape pressure and make explosive plays with his legs. However, Thomas is also a skilled passer, showcasing a live arm and the ability to make accurate throws downfield. His field vision and quick decision-making allow him to read defenses and progress through his options effectively, making him a true dual-threat. With his combination of athleticism, arm strength, and football IQ, Thomas is a constant match-up problem for defenses, and as he continues to develop, he has the potential to become one of the top quarterback prospects with the versatility to excel in today's fast-paced offenses.

Next up is another Essex County prospect in QB/LB hybrid Nick Ward. Ward is the more stereotypical middle/high school QB, as many also play linebacker, and the reason for that is fairly simple: linebacker is often considered the quarterback of the defense. Ward showcases impressive field vision, able to quickly process plays and make decisions both on offense and defense. His ability to read the field from both sides of the ball gives him a unique advantage, as he anticipates plays with a heightened awareness that many quarterbacks his age lack.

Moving to Morris County, [player_tooltip player_id='1562552' first='Marcello' last='Cervone'] is the rare three sport athlete, as he plays both basketball and lacrosse alongside his main sport on the gridiron. Cervone is a pure athlete at heart, showcasing great speed and agility that makes him a deadly runner. Cervone is just as good a passer as he is a runner, but he definitely uses his agility first as a weapon to force defenses to respect his legs. Whether he's using his legs to extend plays or standing tall in the pocket, Cervone's versatility is what makes him the great player he is.

Staying in Morris County, there is no doubt that [player_tooltip player_id='1402714' first='AJ' last='MacCracken'] passes the name test, but his style of play is just as cool as his last name. MacCracken throws a beautiful deep ball, able to consistently hit his targets on time down field. His best throws come inside the hashes, when he is able to use his arm strength to its fullest potential. MacCracken is a great talent, and if his arm continue to develop as he ages, it's hard not to see a bright future ahead.

Last but certainly not least is Sussex County native, [player_tooltip player_id='1562560' first='Joey' last='Scarpone']. Scarpone, like many others on this list, is uber athletic, but he uses his legs to help out his passing game. Scarpone likes to roll out and escape the pocket to better set up the pass, pulling defenders down before throwing right over them. And Scarpone throws a beautiful deep ball, showcasing textbook form and spiral that any college quarterback could learn from. If he stays on this trajectory, Scarpone will be a name to follow for a long… long time.
