2029 Impressive Defensive Backs in Gwinnett/Fulton Co. Georgia

A hot bed for defensive backs in the state of Georgia is just about everywhere. However, if we want to get specific, we can look in the Gwinnett and Fulton County areas. There are a lot of exciting DB's in those areas but i chose a few exciting guys who stood out to me in the 2029 class.    Cannon has great ball skills and has a good sense of where the receiver's route is going to be by using his IQ of the game. Cannon brings a good hit once the ball hits the receiver's hands and he's shown to be a very good tackler not only in crowds but in open space which is a huge plus for a corner to be able to do. Cannon is a real exciting player and he's only going to improve as he continues to put in the work, he's one to watch out for.     A ball hawk at his best and is extremely hard to tackle once the ball hits his hands. Once Watts forces a turnover and the ball is in his hands, he happens to turn into a running back on the gridiron. He's got supreme footwork and uses his quick ability to take advantage of his opponents in order to make a huge play for his team. Watts is one of the more electric yet smart DB's in this 2029 class and he just happens to play in the hot bed for DB's, Gwinnett County, Georgia.     I am very impressed with the physicality of Bridges and how he attacks the ball once it's thrown in his direction. He's got a great change of direction and has quick feet playing the DB position. For a corner, he's got soft hands and uses great hand/eye coordination in order to make a play on the ball to create a turnover. Bridges is certainly one in the 2029 class that is an exciting player to watch in the secondary.     Very impressed with the physicality of Pfister and the finesse play that he plays with. That is a good mixture of strengths. He tracks the ball down as well as any defensive back in his class and he's a guy who plays with a lot of confidence. He can high point the football and make a sudden play when it's needed most. I really like his athletic ability that really makes him an all-around type of defensive back.     Culpepper is a dude that can really impress with the ball in his hands. His sheer ability to make others miss is what makes him special. His ability to put his head down and make a hit or a good solid tackle on a ball carrier is a quality that stands out from him at the corner spot. He's got great ball skills and has a good eye for what offenses are doing before the ball is snapped. Very high IQ for Culpepper and when you add the IQ in with the ability to be a solid all-around player, that makes for an exciting defensive back in this 2029 class.
