It's the month of October and that means it's time for a prospect ranking update! Throughout this month, we have been updating each class ranking and following up those updates with in-depth breakdowns on a ton of prospects in each class. Two weeks ago, we kicked things off with the 2028 Watchlist. Last week, we continued our updates with the 2027 class, featuring the Top 75 Sophomores In Oklahoma. This week, it's time to take a look at the state's 2026 class. The latest ranking update now features the Top 150 Juniors In Oklahoma. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at some of the top pass catchers in this class. While the majority of these guys are your traditional wide receivers, don't overlook the tight end position in this class.

Bixby standout [player_tooltip player_id='414994' first='Cord' last='Nolan'] might be the most difficult prospect to break down and we mean that in the most positive way imaginable. We think we've changed his position about seven times since he burst onto the scene as a freshman in 2022. Whether it's been tight end, linebacker or just an overall athlete, Nolan has been a guy that we've liked since that breakout freshman season. This season, Nolan is the team's second leading receiver from the tight end position and he's made some big plays on the offensive side of the ball. But we can't overlook the fact that he's also the team's second-leading tackler from the linebacker position and the top guy in the tackle for loss category. No matter where he lines up, he's a star in the making.

In the last 15 months, wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='979658' first='Malakai' last='Dillard'] has gone from somewhat of an unknown to one of the best wide receivers in the Tulsa area. He had a breakout season with Lincoln Christian as a sophomore and helped the Bulldogs win a state championship. Dillard would go on to have a tremendous offseason at various 7v7 tournaments and he also moved to Jenks, where he became an instant impact guy for the Trojan offense. In a game earlier this season, Dillard made arguably the best catch that you'll see from a high schooler in Oklahoma this season. And as we said following it, that wasn't surprising because we watched Dillard all offseason make the impossible catches look possible and eventually probable.

Owasso wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='911962' first='Julius' last='Wilson'] joined Owasso this offseason after enjoying a breakout season at Holland Hall last fall. Wilson joined an Owasso offense that is absolutely loaded at the skill positions so he's definitely had to earn his way onto the field as the depth chart is deep. He's solidified himself as a starter and he's consistently been the third wide receiver behind a senior and a junior who has been one of the bigger breakout stars. Something also to consider with Wilson is his abilities on the basketball court. He's one of the better guards in the Tulsa area and he could end up having opportunities to play hoops at the next level. But as for football, we definitely think he's a wide receiver prospect to watch moving forward.

We probably said this over the summer during our last update but Booker T Washington wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='284116' first='Keynan' last='Farley'] was one of our favorite wide receivers we watched in person this offseason. As always, we have to give the "it was just a 7v7 tournament" disclaimer but he was absolutely dominant every time we watched him in person, which was a handful of tournaments. He has all the tools that you want in a big play wide receiver and things are starting to come together with the pads on and when the lights are brightest. Booker T Washington is also enjoying a big bounce back season as they've already locked up the district crown. Farley is a wide receiver prospect who we think has his arrow pointing up.

Fresh off a fantastic sophomore season, Mustang wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1041452' first='Jaden' last='Johnson'] got off to a fast start this season. Johnson was on our radar since his freshman season but he really elevated his game last season and became one of the wide receivers that you need to know in the state's 2026 class. We've talked about Johnson having genetics on his side with his older brother Jacobe now at OU and a former All American in high school. Jaden is looking to become that more consistent playmaker in Class 6A-1 and like we said at the start here, he picked up right where he left off when this season began. We're looking forward to seeing more of Johnson in person this offseason and he has a chance to have a busy spring and summer.
