2025 Rankings Update (DEC) - WATCHLIST RISING

We are less than a month away from the new rankings update for the class of 2025, scheduled for December 16, 2024. In this update, we will highlight prospects who have been excelling and moving up our rankings throughout the 2024 season. Here are five prospects to keep an eye on for a rise in the next update.    [player_tooltip player_id='319362' first='Kaleb' last='Doucette'] has been a dominant player all season, and he had an impressive performance during round one on Friday night. Doucette recorded 11 tackles (7 solo), 6 tackles for loss (TFLs), and 3.5 sacks. He's been a consistent riser on our board this season. He explodes off the snap with good burst, bend, power, and foot quickness, allowing him to win one-on-one battles against offensive linemen. His ability to bend and move quickly enables him to speed around the edge, consistently applying pressure on the quarterback. Doucette demonstrates good lower body strength, effective hand placement, and pad level when executing bull rushes, which help him create leverage and drive back the offensive lineman. Additionally, he showcases a relentless motor that enables him to cover the field from sideline to sideline. He showcases a quick first step and possesses solid read-and-react skills when it comes to attacking the football. Davis takes solid angles while pursuing the play and maintains his positioning when filling gaps. He demonstrates good instincts, allowing him to read and react effectively, while showing good change of direction, balance, and burst to stay with wide receivers and prevent separation. Additionally, his ability to key over the top is essential for forcing pass breakups (PBUs). His mental processing also proves beneficial in run support, where he attacks downhill rapidly, using good angles and technique. He displays good initial quickness off the snap, whether in his base or zone blocking. His footwork is solid, and he maintains good pad level, hand placement, and leg drive, which allows him to displace defenders and create running lanes. He possesses the athletic ability to combo off the defensive lineman, reach the second-level linebacker, and effectively wall him off. Additionally, he has a strong anchor due to his lower-body strength and upper-body control. Ruple also has the ability to mirror defenders effectively. He aims to continue that success in round two. He displays a quick release with good velocity on the football to thread it into tight windows. Gartman showcases solid ball placement at all levels of the field, putting his team in areas to succeed. He also has solid pocket mobility and awareness to evade pressure.
