CHAPIN | Just over the halfway point of the first quarter Friday night, Dutch Fork had run two offensive plays yet held a 21-0 lead over Chapin in the Region IV-AAAAA opener for the two rivals. That was indicative of the type of night it would be as the top-ranked Silver Foxes rolled to a 63-10 victory in a game that had a running clock the entire second half.

[player_tooltip player_id='1012701' first='Maurice' last='Anderson'] ran for five first-half touchdowns and the Silver Foxes scored touchdowns on all eight of their first half possessions.

“It's our chemistry,” Anderson said. “We've been playing with each other since we were little kids. We know how to work with each other. On top of that, the scout team gets us right every practice.”

Things started innocently enough when Chapin had to punt on their opening possession. [player_tooltip player_id='275995' first='Jayden' last='Westbrook'] took the return 62 yards to the Eagles 1-yard line, setting the stage for Anderson's first TD one play later. Eight plays later, [player_tooltip player_id='1012606' first='Elgin' last='Sessions'] stepped in front of an out route and raced 40 yards for the score.

The Silver Foxes defense forced a three-and-out on the next Eagles series and after a punt, Dutch Fork was back in business at its own 30-yard line. On the first play after that, [player_tooltip player_id='1267290' first='Ethan' last='Offing'] connected with [player_tooltip player_id='1013047' first='KJ' last='Smith'] for a 70-yard touchdown pass.

It pretty much was over at that point. Anderson bullied his way to four more touchdowns covering 1, 2, 1 and 5 yards. He did the damage running behind an offensive line that featured Cayden McFadden, Ky-Mani McLeish, [player_tooltip player_id='1151291' first='Brody' last='Lorenzo'], [player_tooltip player_id='1592665' first='Jordan' last='Roseborough'] and Joshua Benson.

Anderson's night was over after the first two quarters and the senior ran for 65 yards on eight carries and those five touchdowns.

“That offensive line means everything to me. Without the O-line, I don't shine,” Anderson said. “They're the key to what I do.”

Chapin got on the board with 9:33 remaining in the half when [player_tooltip player_id='1360369' first='Gavin' last='Stam'] completed a 10-play, 71-yard drive with a three-yard run. That was the first points Dutch Fork had allowed in 15 quarters and was just the second touchdown they've allowed this season. In five wins, they've given up 17 points.

The defensive front of [player_tooltip player_id='1592529' first='Julian' last='Walker'], [player_tooltip player_id='1463245' first='Luciano' last='Cesario'], Michael Steed, Daniel Willims and Jaquan Henderson lived in the Eagles backfield. Steed was the leading tackler with six stops but those five combined for 11 tackles for loss and five sacks. Dutch Fork finished with 16 tackles for loss and eight sacks.

Henderson and Williams were particularly disruptive with two sacks and four tackles for loss each.

Sessions, the West Virginia commitment, finished with five tackles and the pick-six.

Ole Miss defensive line coach Randall Joyner was on the sideline looking at the Silver Foxes [player_tooltip player_id='1012706' first='Josh' last='Smith']. All the 6-foot-3, 230-pounder did in his one half of play was register five tackles, a sack and two tackles for loss.

“We had to get off blocks and just beat our man,” Henderson said.

Offing finished 11-of-13 for 201 yards and one touchdown. Westbrook had four punt returns for 137 yards. Isaac Shine and Kyle Henry scored the other two Silver Foxes touchdowns.

CHAPIN STANDOUTS

Chapin had to throw the game plan out the window after the first six minutes of the game. But that didn't stop Colione Martin from finishing with 71 yards on 21 carries. [player_tooltip player_id='272715' first='Brady' last='Albro'] was under constant pressure but still managed to throw for 98 yards on 12-of-25 passing. [player_tooltip player_id='1149052' first='Khalen' last='Bostick'] was his top target with six receptions for 48 yards.
