Each week we will break down the state's top athletes on offense and defense from all classifications, highlighting those individuals who stood out. Not all stats are always available.. Have a look at the top performers from Week 5.

[player_tooltip player_id='984855' first='AJ' last='Tuivaiave'] 28' QB Graham Kapowsin

It's still early but Tuivaivae could be one of the best QB's ever to come out of Washington state. On Friday he diced up an undefeated and very talented Yelm program, hitting on 21/27 passes for 435 yards and 7 TDs.

[player_tooltip player_id='693692' first='Beckett' last='Wall'] 25' LB Tumwater

The 6-3 LB seems to be on this list every week. 2A Tumwater once again left no doubt, crushing 4A Union 56-10. On the night Wall finished with 11 tackles, 4 tfl's, 3 sacks, 2 batted balls, a fumble recovery, and a blocked PAT. UNREAL..

[player_tooltip player_id='1136399' first='Jake' last='Davidson'] 25' QB Camas / [player_tooltip player_id='1113094' first='Chase' last='McGee'] 25' Slot

Davidson and McGee are both having 1st team all-state seasons, with the #1 Papermakers beating a solid Coeur d'Alene ID program 38-21. Davidson passed for another 396 with 3 TDs, with the track standout McGee catching 12 balls for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136358' first='Kyson' last='Douglas'] 25' RB Puyallup

One of the NW's best performances all year came via the 5-8 scat back. Puyallup came up just short 17-14 to #1 Sumner, with Douglas carrying 17 times for 71 yards, along with 5 catches for 130 and 2 receiving touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='1523669' first='Cooper' last='Neer'] 26' LB/ [player_tooltip player_id='1523670' first='Sovrayn' last='Theus'] 26' DE Kennewick

Kennewick is one of the top ranked teams in the state, and they are going to be good for years to come with these underclassmen representing on D. The 6-2 200-pound Neer finished with 10 tackles and 1 tackle for loss, with Theus adding 9 tackles and a sack, in the 14-13 win over Richland.

[player_tooltip player_id='937738' first='Kase' last='Betz'] 27' WR Graham Kapowsin

Betz is the real deal. The sophomore speedster continued his season long tear, catching 6 passes for 183 yards and 2 TDs, in the 56-37 win over Yelm.

[player_tooltip player_id='1248706' first='Terrance' last='Saryon'] 26' Slot Evergreen

The nationally ranked recruit continues to impress, finishing with 6 receptions for 131 yards and 2 TDs, in the 7-point win over Kelso. Saryon's offers speak to his ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='1523671' first='Colby' last='Bossert'] 26' QB Jackson

The talented multi-sport QB has played well all year long, throwing another 4 TD's in the 39-19 win over Kamiak. Bossert helped his team move to 4-1 as they will play 2x defending state champ Lake Stevens on Friday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165423' first='Brady' last='Jay'] 26' QB / [player_tooltip player_id='1530807' first='Grant' last='Smith'] 26' WR Eisenhower

Jay hasn't let up after earning conference POY honors last year as a sophomore. He finished the evening with 400 yards passing and 6 TDs, hitting on 79.1% of his throws. His favorite target was the 6-3 Smith, who had 148 receiving yards and 3 TDs in the 49-0 win over Eisenhower.

[player_tooltip player_id='693811' first='Beau' last='Oaksmith'] 25' QB Seattle Prep

Oaksmith was clutch in the big 38-30 comeback win over Rainier Beach, passing for 4 TDs and rushing for another. The 5-11 QB changes the game with his overall athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='726175' first='Brody' last='Bocek'] 26' WR/DB Richland

Bocek is typically known for his receiving ability, but was clutch on D last Friday finishing with 2 INT's, in the 14-13 loss to #5 Kennewick. He also added 8 catches for 95 yards.

[player_tooltip player_id='936091' first='Colby' last='Johnson'] 26' LB Eastlake

One of the fastest rising 2026 prospects in the state. The 6-3 LB took a pick 70 yards to the house, also making 9 tackles, with 2 tackles for loss, in the 29-12 win over Skyline.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136314' first='Cooper' last='Macpherson'] 25' LB Chiawana

Look for MacPherson to add additional Big Sky and maybe mid major offers before he's done. He's unquestionably one of the top LB's in the state, finishing with 7 tackles (all for loss), and 2 sacks in the 50-7 win over Southridge.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136422' first='Blake' last='Blumenthal'] 25' WR Issaquah

One of the biggest sleepers in the state. The 6-3 Blumenthal continues to up his stock, finishing with 104 yards receiving and a 51-yard TD, in the 22-19 win over Juanita.

[player_tooltip player_id='1523675' first='James' last='Bethune'] 25' RB Evergreen

Bethune went nuts in the 42-35 win over Kelso, finishing with 211 yards and 3 TDs. He's a big reason the Plainsmen will have a shot come playoff time.

[player_tooltip player_id='945865' first='Brant' last='Heppner'] 25' QB Lynden

The big 6-6 QB has been a fixture on this list over the first half of the year. Heppner helped his team come from 16 points down in the 4th quarter to beat Sehome 31-30. On the night he passed for 283 yards and 3 TDs (1 passing, 2 rushing)
