Colby was a late and great addition to our 2026 newcomers radar that not only possesses the size for the next-level but there are plenty of more skillsets he offers outside of that 6'5 210 pound frame. His eye-catching release off the snap fires off quickly and he has the longevity with his route-running to show off on tape powerful hands thru high traffic areas. Colby also shows off the angling blocks with his hands and pad-level from the light tape that is out there on his Hudl. The pure instincts also unlocks well with his hands to progress up field quickly. Colby is a 2026 prospect that I really love the upside to grow over the coming months.

If you are looking to add a linebacker to your 2026 recruiting board with excellent size, a long running motor and quick suddeness to get into the backfield. The 6'3 220 pounder from the Chargers is yet another alum of our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase as that range at linebacker that Canyon has grown like clockwork this season as he on most reps is has the longest run to the ball but is a constant finisher in the backfield with his physicality. The intrigue also comes thru as a tight end as I like the athleticism that comes with Canyon's hands. Wherever Canyon is on the either side of the field the fluidity he shows off is always presence as he certainly already looks like a scholarship level 2026 prospect in my eyes.

Kaleb is a 2026 quarterback for the Governors that we have not only seen rise during our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase and it was more than enough to get him into our 2026 rankings this time around. What the tape has shown off thus far is tight ball fits on intermeidate roues and balanced touch with his throws from the run. The deep ball arm strength has also developed since we saw him last Spring as on all three levels Kaleb has kept growing with his precision and his tight throwing window throws have gotten a lot more smooth since Sioux Falls. You can already book that this young man will be a riser by our next 2026 rankings update.

Jayce quickly popped out on tape as a wide receiver that wins his reps with route angles that allows him to win the position battle within his routes. He also possesses the trajectory to change his route on the fly if the first look isn't there and also shows fluidity with his change of direction with his cuts. The 6'1 175 pounder from Dakota Valley. The reason I place Jayce as an athlete, as there is position flexibility with him in my eyes at defensive back as his length and twitch trend well getting downhll to the ball. There is a lot of havoc that Jayce certainly causes when he has a blind free rush which flashes swiftly on tape.

Sam is a 2026 wide receiver prospect that flashes with his route creativity and agile cuts within his routes. The 6'2 180 pounder from Sioux Falls Washington also shows a good sized catch radius for his size. He also shows off development with his open field vision as after watching a handful of tape on tape, you can tell the upside is there for the taking for Sam especially with his growing athleticism. He also is a wide receiver that I believe has a deeper football IQ than the tape shows and there are small items I see on tape that shows off his potential.
