[player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] 26' QB Lake Oswego

Bell showed why he is considered a 6A POY favorite halfway through the season, rushing 24 times for 247 yards and 3 TDs (76,16,18) in the 45-31 win over #4 Tualatin. What's even scarier about the Lakers is how young they are.

[player_tooltip player_id='406774' first='Baird' last='Gilroy'] 25' QB West Linn

Gilroy looks to be on a mission, continually killin it each week. The 6-5 QB hit on 81% of his passes 22/27, for 314 yards and 7 TDs/0 INTs, in the 55-0 win over Tigard.

[player_tooltip player_id='796694' first='Jordan' last='Rossetta'] 27' QB Grants Pass

One of the most impressive performances statewide came from the 6-4 Sophomore QB Rossetta, who hit on 24/33 passes for 360 yards and 4 TDs/0 INTs. The Cavemen moved to 4-1 with 42-30 win over a decent South Medford team. The excitement at GP is real with a lot of young talent on the roster.

[player_tooltip player_id='1059015' first='Justin' last='Craigwell'] 26' LB/RB Lake Oswego

The Sunset transfer continues to look like one of the top two-way threats in Oregon, projecting as a 1st team all state LB. On the night he had 3 of his teams 5 sacks.

[player_tooltip player_id='402409' first='Hudson' last='Kurland'] 26' QB Lake Oswego

Look for Kurland to make a big jump up the PRZ Rankings board when updated. The 6-4 dual threat QB has been nothing short of phenomenal this season, hitting on 9/13 passes for 152 yards, and 3 rushing TD's. His size and overall athleticism puts him in a unique category of athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='152653' first='Zhaiel' last='Smith'] 25' WR Tualatin

Smith has been one of the best players in Oregon this season, catching another 10 passes for 174 yards, in the 45-31 loss to LO. Having one of the top QBs in the West throwing to him hasn't hurt.

[player_tooltip player_id='285867' first='Grant' last='Valley'] 25' WR/DB Jesuit

The speedster was known more of as a WR heading into the year, but he has stepped up big on D. He finished with 2 TDs offensively, to go with 1 INT and 2 TFL's, in the 28-6 win over Westview.

[player_tooltip player_id='1474336' first='Hudson' last='Waples'] 25' WR Silverton

One of the fastest rising athletes at the 5A level. Waples had another big night, finishing with 4 catches for 187 yards and 2 TDs, in the win over Mckay.

[player_tooltip player_id='754595' first='Ceville' last='Pasi'] 25' RB/LB Churchill

Pasi continues to be a leading candidate for conference POY honors on both sides of the football, rushing for another 224 yards and 3 TDs, in the 32-13 beatdown of Thurston. Churchill ended the Colts 40 game league winning streak.

[player_tooltip player_id='777449' first='Calen' last='Simonelic'] 26' ATH Tualatin

One of the more underrated players for the 2026 class. Simonelic isn't the biggest kid, but he has legit skills. He was clutch on Friday catching 4 passes for 103 yards, including a 42-yard touchdown in the loss.

Zae Clark Anderson 26' LB Jefferson/ Michael Patten 25' Jeff

Jeff came back from a 19-7 deficit to beat Grant 28-19, behind multiple game changing defensive plays. Clark Anderson started the comeback with a 30-yard INT return to the house, with Patten taking a ball back 52 yards for a TD.

[player_tooltip player_id='759688' first='Lukas' last='Babbitt'] 26' ATH Churchill

The transfer from Springfield is a big reason the Lancers are listed among the top 5A teams in the state. The two way standout came up big again, catching 2 TD passes (58,5) with a fumble recovery on D. The 32-13 win over Thurston was huge.

[player_tooltip player_id='1511452' first='Bryce' last='Kuenzi'] 26' RB Cascade

Kuenzi continues to look like one of the best backs in the state regardless of classification. He went for another 185 yards and 2 TDs, helping Cascade (5-0) stay undefeated against a good Stayton team who lost their first game of the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1216432' first='Eli' last='Hess'] 25' QB / [player_tooltip player_id='1585712' first='Chase' last='Eriksen'] 26' DB Dallas

The Dragons graduated a ton of talent last year, but have come back stronger than ever, moving to 5-0 with a 35-0 win over South Albany. Hess passed for 264 yards and 4 TDs, also rushing for 59 and a score. Eriksen had an unreal night defensively with 2 INTs and a fumble recovery + an offensive touchdown.

[player_tooltip player_id='511864' first='Mark' last='Wiepert'] 25' QB Wilsonville / [player_tooltip player_id='285874' first='Nick' last='Crowley'] 25' WR

The Cats got whooped last week by 6A Lakeridge but came back in a big way, beating a decent Central team 41-10. Crowley continued having a 1st team all-state season at WR with 3 more TD's, while the Oregon St baseball commit Wiepert hit on 80% of his passes (28/35) for 405 yards and 5 touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='402392' first='Asante' last='Mims'] 26' OLB/ Sorne Olson 27' DB Hillsboro

Mims will be a 4-year varsity starter, projecting as one of the best defenders at the 5A level. He finished the night with 8 tackles, 3 sacks, and 2 tfl's. The big sophomore DB Olson had a breakout performance with 2 INT's, in the 35-0 shutout win over Centennial.

Marcus Rouse Jr. 25' RB Grant

The 1-4 Generals got a big night from the Sr. RB Rouse Jr, carrying the ball 33 times for 229 yards and a pair of TDs, in the 28-19 loss to Jefferson.

[player_tooltip player_id='1125493' first='Reece' last='Ballew'] 27' RB Mountainside

The Mavericks didn't have two of the state's top recruits in [player_tooltip player_id='1094961' first='Jordan' last='Hicks'] and [player_tooltip player_id='457009' first='Sam' last='Vyhlidal'] running the ball because of injuries. The Sophomore Ballew stepped up, rushing 21 times for 118 yards and a TD, in the 49-28 win over Sunset.

[player_tooltip player_id='1200829' first='Peyton' last='Read'] 25' TE Westview

It's been a tough year for Westview thus far, but they didn't play bad versus #7 Jesuit in the 28-6 loss. The big 6-6 TE Read was a much-needed bright spot for the Cats, finishing with 5 catches for 72 yards and the team's only touchdown.

[player_tooltip player_id='1112474' first='Riddick' last='Molatore'] 25' LB/ [player_tooltip player_id='1474331' first='Ben' last='Wiepert'] 27' LB Wilsonville

Molatore and Wiepert have been on this list almost every week with both projecting as conference POY and 1st team all state candidates. Molatore had another 7 tackles with a fumble recovery + a TD offensively. The Sophomore Wiepert added 2 INTs and 5 tackles.
