Louisiana's top Week 6 large schools performances

The sixth of Louisiana high school football action was another full of standout performances from all over the state.   Prep Redzone Louisiana has gathered more than 40 of the top stat lines. [player_tooltip player_id='1415002' first='Sy' last='Austin'] — 5-10, 175 RB — Franklinton (2025)   The senior carried 35 times for 235 yards and four touchdowns to help lead the Demons by Lakeshore in a big district matchup.   Preston Bagwell — 6-0, 225 RB — North Vermilion (2025)   Bagwell carried 18 times for 150 yards and four scores in a 36-29 win against Comeaux.   Jayden Bailey — 6-1, 175 DB — Destrehan (2025)   The senior snatched two interceptions, including a 95-yard pick-six, in the Wildcats' 33-7 win against H.L. Bourgeois.   Tyler Bovia — 6-0, 160 LB — St. Charles Catholic (2028)   The freshman blocked a potential game-winning extra-point by Terrebonne to end regulation to send the game to overtime where the Comets would notched their first win of the season. Mason DePriest — 5-8, 140 DB — Sulphur (2025)   DePriesst helped highlight his Tornado's 28-21 defeat of New Iberia with his full stat line of seven tackles, an interception, a fumble recover and two pass break-ups.   Cadarrian Devers — 6-0, 165 WR — Captain Shreve (2026)   The first of three Gators on the list, the junior receiver caught eight passes for 188 yards and a touchdown in an eye-popping District 1-5A shootout that Captain Shreve won, 77-76. Jaden Duncan — 5-10, 140 WR/DB — Fontainebleau (2025)   The first-time starter at defensive back intercepted two passes to help his Bulldogs' beat Slidell, 28-21. [player_tooltip player_id='710968' first='Nathan' last='Green'] — 6-0, 180 ATH — Evangel Christian (2026)   Wrapping up the Eagles' receivers, the versatile junior standpoint caught eight passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns.   [player_tooltip player_id='1250887' first='Peyton' last='Houston'] — 6-0, 185 QB — Evangel Christian (2027)   In just his sixth varsity start, the Eagles' sophomore put up an absurd stat line — even by video-game standards — of 817 yards and eight touchdowns on 53-for-68 passing, plus another 88 yards and two scores rushing. The 817 yards marks a national record, according to the NFHS record book, with his completions and total touchdowns also among the top marks in history recognized by the NFHS.   Jake Jarreau — 5-8, 195 LB — Central (Baton Rouge) (2026)   The junior middle linebacker returned an interception for a touchdown that helped spark his Wildcats to a 24-6 defeat of Woodlawn (Baton Rouge). Byron Perriliat — 5-10, 175 RB/WR — Riverdale (2026)   The junior carried 23 times for 122 yards and a fourth-quarter touchdown in the Scottish Rebels' overtime win against John Ehret to start the District 10-5A race on the right foot. Player set a school record with 352 rushing yards and four scores in a 77-76 overtime defeat of Evangel Christian. He added another 88 yards and a touchdown as a receiver.
