You may have heard the classic saying of "The best ability is availability". Well how's about a new one for ya? "The best ability is versatility". Guys like Travis Hunter made the true athlete, two-way player popular for the first time since the days of Prime Time. Well these five athletes from the Peach State may very well be the next batch of versatile superstars.

First thing that stands out when you look at McFadden is his small stature, but trust me when I say, don't let that fool you. McFadden has hands like glue, if he gets a hand on the ball, trust that he is going to catch it 100 times out of 100. Having a smaller frame leads to concern of how his body can hold up to getting hit repeatedly, and that would be an issue… if you can catch him. McFadden showcases great takeoff speed, getting to his top speed quickly and never slowing down. McFadden is a true showstopper, and while uncommon, we have seen guys with similar size and skill make it on a P4 school (think guys like Deuce Vaugn).

Who doesn't love a great iron man athlete, seeing guys play two different positions in the same game is always fun. Now what if I told you Raglan plays four… and no, that is not a typo. Raglan lines up as a wide out, in the backfield as a running back, or on defense as an outside linebacker slash free safety. While Raglan is good at all four, I think he is best suited as a linebacker. Raglan shows really great instincts in the run game, finding gaps before slamming the opposing running back into the turf. Raglan will likely move to being a RB/LB in high school, and he has the pure football instincts to ensure he will be great at whatever position he chooses.

NFL legend Tom Brady once said he "can't throw and catch the ball", well try telling that to [player_tooltip player_id='1467349' first='Ke'Shon' last='Hall']. Hall is a QB/WR hybrid, a very rare type of player. When you think of a QB who played wide out the first name that pops up is Ryan Tannehill, who played both at Texas A&M. In the next 10 years if asked the same question, [player_tooltip player_id='1467349' first='Ke'Shon' last='Hall'] may just be the name that comes up. Being a wide receiver means Hall has some serious speed and ability to make people miss in the open field. Pair that speed with the Rocket arm he has, and Hall is a nightmare for any opposing team to try and stop. And who knows, maybe he will eventually throw a touchdown pass to himself.

Jet sweeps were so overpowered in this year's College Football video game that they had to be fixed again and again, just to make it fair. Unfortunately for opposing schools, in real life there is no such thing as fair when it comes to a [player_tooltip player_id='1404627' first='Malcolm' last='Patrick'] jet sweep. Patrick lines up as a slot receiver, but he is most deadly when given the ball on a shovel pass behind the line, as he is an absolute menace in open space. Patrick showcases everything from fancy footwork, to gritty toughness, to elite vision when running behind blockers. I would not be surprised if he eventually transitions to a full time back, which I'm sure is an outcome all other coaches in the Peach State dread.

Calling Riverdale's [player_tooltip player_id='1515982' first='Austin' last='Rucker'] just an athlete feels disrespectful, because there is no label fitting for a guy who plays five different positions. Rucker showcase's a wide range of ability, one minute being a scrambling QB, to the next catching passes and burning by defenders for six. Then just when you think he is done, you see Rucker line up as a free safety or linebacker on the defensive side as well. The overall athletic ability that takes is so incredible that there is no way to truly describe it. Whether Rucker decides to play QB, DB, or any other position he wants to play, that pure athletic talent he displays is going to ensure he is great at it.
