There are some real dogs on the line in this class. We know some of these guys are still picking up a lot of steam in recruiting. Let's see how they have been doing.

[player_tooltip player_id='652908' first='London' last='Simmons']

Simmons is one of the best DL in the 2025 class for the state of Mississippi. This is a guy who knows how to do some great things on the field. We knew when we saw him dominating in Dallas this past summer that he would be a dog. The Alabama commit is a guy who gets nasty with his hands in the trenches. Simmons is a guy college coaches slept on. There is no way they could not see the dominance in this young man early. We can even take the blame. Maybe we should have stressed it daily. This kid is a real dog.

Arderrius Gardner

Gardner is a 2025 defensive lineman from Hattiesburg who we have been keeping our eyes on. Gardner is a real stud who is flying under the radar. He is one of the 6-foot guys we feel coaches are sleeping on. Gardner has a quick release from the line that allows him to get in the backfield quickly. He knows how to stay low and he knows how to use his hands. He holds an offer from Southern that he has been showing love to. We think there are more G5 and FCS programs that could really use him on their team.

[player_tooltip player_id='350949' first='Ronnie' last='Blossom']

Blossom is an edge player from Warren Central who we have been keeping up with since he was a sophomore. This young man has been a guy we have known to easily get away from offensive linemen. We were able to see him be a magician at a few combines this past summer. Blossom knows how to step up and get his way to the quarterback. He is also a guy who knows how to be a force in the running game.

BJ Ausmer

Ausmer is a guy from Ocean Springs who has 13 tackles on the season. When we first got our eyes on Ausmer, he was a guy who we knew had the ability to play tight end as well. However, his height is not the prototype for the TE position. At 6-foot-2, he can definitely be a stud who is able to handle the edge position as well as be a guy who can be taught to play the jack backer position. Ausmer has good speed, he has good hips and he knows how to use his hands. He has 13 sacks on the season. We really feel like this is a guy who is a sleeper.
