What We Saw: Lugoff-Elgin 49 Aiken 18

<p><strong>LUGOFF | </strong>A forced fumble on the opening kickoff was all Lugoff-Elgin needed to grab momentum, as it cruised to a 49-18 over Aiken on Thursday night.</p>

<p>A very balanced attack from the Demons was key to their success, as they had six different players with carries and nine different players with a reception.</p>

<p>They had no problem scoring all night long, as they had seven touchdowns with six different players.</p>

<p>Sophomore quarterback <strong>Aiden Fitzgerald</strong> (pictured) was the star of the night for Lugoff, and we'll get to him more in a moment. He remained very composed throughout the evening and managed the game very well for Lugoff-Elgin.</p>

<p><strong>Aiden Fitzgerald | </strong>As previously mentioned, Fitzgerald led the offense by going 16-of-24 passing for 219 yards and four touchdowns. He also added two carries for 11 yards.</p>
