What to expect from both offenses

Starkville is going to have a quarterback on their team who is going to be playing with a lot of leadership. His name is Jay Ruffin. He has a lot of guys out there who he can spread the football around to. We know that [player_tooltip player_id='1336626' first='Latrent' last='Agnew'] is one of the receivers who he has been trying to get the football to this year. These two are a great tandem on the field. Courtland Cooper is the running back that they have coming out of the backfield. We know that it is super hard to run the football on Louisville. We are expecting for Starkville to try to open things up with the pass. Louisville has seen their secondary struggle some. This could be where they get attacked.

Louisville has an offensive coordinator who likes to control the game. We expect him to be trying to pound the football on this Starkville defense. [player_tooltip player_id='447349' first='Zaiden' last='Jernigan'] and [player_tooltip player_id='402110' first='Xzarion' last='Haynes'] are two guys that they like to get the football to when they get the chance. Jernigan is a bigger back who can hurt you with his power and vision. Haynes is a back who can hurt you with his vision as well as his finesse. Kam Triplett is a big playmaking wide receiver out there that Louisville is going to be trying to get the football to. We look for the Wildcats to be out there trying to control the clock.

Starkville is going to be trying to take away the running game from Louisville. [player_tooltip player_id='1563502' first='Shiloh' last='Johnson'] is one of their linebackers who has a lot of experience. He is a guy we have seen play on the defensive line, so you know he is coming with some aggression. We also know that [player_tooltip player_id='1331945' first='Ladanuel' last='Jordan'] is a guy who knows how to clog up some holes and keep teams from being able to run the football Davarius Hairston is a guy who is going to be standing back watching over Louisville's passing game. We expect him to also be out there trying to take things away from Kam Triplett. [player_tooltip player_id='1331946' first='Kenny' last='Morgan'] is going to be trying to put some pressure on Xavier Hunt from the edge.

Louisville is going to have a very busy defense. [player_tooltip player_id='920471' first='Tayquon' last='McKinney'] is going to be out there trying his best to get to Starkville's quarterback. We know that Jayshaunn Robins and [player_tooltip player_id='1127570' first='Travon' last='McDonald'] are going to be out there shutting down the run. Jacari Owens is a guy who also helps out on the run and in coverage from his outside linebacker position. We also know that Corxavier Coleman is a guy to know from this defense. Expect Louisville to try to put a lot of pressure on Ruffin. They need that pressure to help out their secondary.
