Weekend's Travel: New Additions & Future Rankees Found Part 1

Unsure if I'm going to get ANC's [player_tooltip player_id='1430892' first='Ragnar' last='Kaage'] on our rankings after this one. Not because of a poor performance, more so because of the continuous lack of tape on Hudl. One lone clip at this stage isn't going to help his cause in terms of raising his stock in recruiting. Yet for the time being, I'll stash his name.   6'4, 195, has flirted with the tackle and center spots over the years. Played right tackle in this one. Was solid at best, Wyomissing didn't bring elite talent off the edge, not much to take away from this one. Would love to learn he served a role on defense, this, however, isn't the case. I could see Kaage serve a TE or tackle role on a local D3, so long as a program is willing to take a chance on him.     This past game against Wyomissing is the lone game-tape on Moses Bruno's Hudl. Makes sense considering it's likely his first opportunity to man the QB position at ANC. Certainly a name in-line to land on our 2027 rankings when the time comes. Although this football game got out of hand quickly, I still like a lot of the things I saw out of the sophomore quarterback.   A confidence about him. Take away the score in this one, Bruno's confident enough to test a secondary vertically, or a front-seven with his legs. I've seen countless HS QBs get spooked when faced with a deficit, or when aligned opposite a game-breaking prospect. Bruno was met with this situation, being down big fast, while also playing on the same field as [player_tooltip player_id='453138' first='Justice' last='Hardy']. None of this affected him. While I'm sure the ANC coaching staff doesn't want Bruno to play with reckless abandon, it was a pleasure to see a young QB embrace the moment and not shy away from attempting to make plays. Scrambling to throw, was accurate on more than one occasion. Scrambling to run, numerous plays created after Bruno decided to tuck and run. Solid downfield vision and accuracy, Bruno wasn't backing from a chance to hit his guys streaking deep downfield. Formerly out of Archbishop Ryan, Bruno impressed me enough to leave a lasting thought this past weekend. Will land on our ranks in the future.         [player_tooltip player_id='1430895' first='Lamar' last='Joseph'] is a good-looking back on Academy of the New Church's roster. Tough to praise any ANC prospect after the game against Wyomissing, yet Joseph did what he could in pass-protection, while also recording a 25-yard reception in this one. Joseph will have better days, as will ANC as a whole. Joseph has junior tape on Hudl, which means he should have been reviewed for a possible ranking this past offseason, an oversight on my part. Five minutes worth of quality junior reps, you can get a glimpse of what Joseph is capable of here since he doesn't have much tape showcasing his senior reps just yet. I like his build, and know he's capable of more, just a rough go against a talented Wyomissing team. Worth mentioning that I witnessed occasional quality reps while Joseph was stationed at OLB in this one as well.     A legitimate college prospect here, a shame because hardly anyone would know it based on his socials and Hudl. A baseball player, boasts a 3.91 GPA, an unoffered senior. [player_tooltip player_id='1430897' first='Coleman' last='Boyesen'] immediately grabbed my attention when scouring the ANC Lions before the game. 6'2, 190 pounds, cut-up muscular build, I immediately went to Hudl and Twitter in hopes of learning more. No tape on Hudl, nothing on Twitter. This young man is talented enough to play the game at the next level, yet has to put himself out there a bit to get the attention he deserves. Despite the tough outcome against Wyomissing, Boyesen was far and away the best player in an ANC uniform. Boyesen streaked downfield for a 80-yard touchdown, he'd also scoop up a fumble late and return that for a touchdown as well. Arguably the best player on the field not named Hardy or Eisenhower, yet I don't have much to back that up because of a lack of tape. There's something to be unlocked here, if the young man cares enough to showcase his complete skill set.     [player_tooltip player_id='1430899' first='Tyler' last='Niedrowski'] did enough in this one to draw my attention. A familiar last name, Niedrowski's presence would be felt all over the field. Niedrowski would be tasked with making open field, 1v1 tackles from his OLB spot, a tasked he fulfilled. Niedrowski would record numerous QB pressures when coming off the edge to disrupt the passer, nearly getting home on several occasions. Niedrowski would play passing lanes in curl/flat zones, almost coming away with an interception in this one. This all without mentioning his 1st-half score from 5 yards out. The junior put together a good performance, one that will stick with me come ranking update time.     Surprised to learn of [player_tooltip player_id='1430906' first='Teddy' last='White']'s presence behind center. White, a sophomore, was able to throw two touchdown passes in this one. Both passes early out of play action, likely when ANC wasn't expecting it. Both passes saw White find [player_tooltip player_id='453138' first='Justice' last='Hardy'] wide open, one throw a corner route, the other a post. Wyomissing's offense has no problem running the football down your throat with three different backs if it wants to, yet it's nice to see play-action sets sprinkled in, even nicer seeing the underclassman quarterback hit open kids in stride. White's performance against ANC isn't going to headline on our front page. It will, however, stay in my mind come ranking time. 6'0, 175 pounds, White's frame shows promise as well.
