Week Four Scouting Report

<p>Welcome to Week 4! Last week, plenty of talent was on display, high-scoring games were played, and more. Our weekly scouting reports will continue to include detailed analyses of key players to monitor for the week in question, potential risers, or promising prospects who may not have garnered significant attention thus far and should watch as the season grows. Here are seven prospects to watch:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1265738' first='Jaiden' last='Andrews'] was flying under the radar heading into this season, but he has now racked up 11 tackles (8 Solo), 4 interceptions, and 4 PBUs. Andrews showcases good athletic ability due to good foot speed, lateral agility, change of direction, and balance. He displays solid footwork in his backpedal to transition with solid fluidity to stick with his man. Good read and react ability, not allowing any room for separation due to good COD, balance, and burst. A true ball hawk at the catch point, either forcing PBUs or coming up with an interception. He attacks downhill vs. the run with solid angles and physicality at the POA. A solid read and react ability, not allowing much room for separation due to solid COD, balance, and burst. Shockley is impressive when tackling in space, with good technique and pad level. Before week three, Smith rushed for 38 carries, 329 yards (8.7 YPC), and 7 TDs in two games. He displays solid post-snap vision to read first-level defenders and locate the running lane, demonstrating his good burst to attack the hole quickly. Physical at the POA, will break tackles consistently due to good balance, leg drive, and toughness. Holland displays solid initial quickness off the line of scrimmage, pad level, and hand placement to create leverage and displace defenders, creating a running lane. He has a strong anchor in rare passing situations within their offensive scheme. Holland possesses the ability to penetrate the backfield to make a play or exert pressure in the pocket on the defensive side of the ball.</p>   <p>Note - Multi Position Athlete</p>   <p>(No Social Media Found)</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1474520' first='Jalynn' last='McCraney'] received his first offer from Vermilion College on September 5th, 2024. He's a versatile prospect with experience as a slot receiver and defensive back with the talent to be a primary running back. McCraney displays solid foot speed, quickness, and burst. He showcases the ability to break tackles due to good balance and leg drive with a low center of gravity. Goodwin, though, has an impressive mix of very good power, upper/lower body strength, and good athletic ability at the tackle spot to win 1v1 in any scenario. He displays very good initial quickness off the LOS with good pad level, very good lower body power, and foot quickness, allowing him to create inside leverage with good hand placement, hand strength, and punch timing to throw off defenders, drive the opposition back or displace out of gaps to create running lanes (Base). Has good angles in reach and zone blocks and impressive reach/length. Good initial quickness into all pass sets. Very strong anchor in pass protection, demonstrating control with very good lower body strength, core strength, good hand placement, and awareness of potential stunts, showcasing his high football IQ. Cox showcases good foot quickness and upfield burst off the edge and LOS, demonstrating a relentless motor, playing sideline-to-sideline consistently. He displays the ability to contain the edge and the ability to chase down the ball carrier from behind with good foot speed. Off the snap, he uses good hand placement and timing to engage with the OL to shed the block or pressure the pocket by driving with good lower body strength and active feet. He can bull rush or speed-to-power effectively.
