I scouted Rock Creek's second game of the season on the road in Wamego, a 20-0 win by the Red Raiders.

The Mustang offense was held in check by a tough Wamego defense that swarms to the ball.

It was the first loss of the season for the Mustangs, however, they have some talented ranked and unranked athletes that college coaches will want to take a look at.

[player_tooltip player_id='1305269' first='Mack' last='Lee'], QB, 5'11”, 185, Rock Creek, ‘25

I liked Lee's game. He is ranked No. 276 overall in the class of 2025 and has verbally committed to play for Macalester College, a Division II program, after high school. He is an option on the ground and has nice touch on the ball when he throws it. He understands the value of each possession and takes care of the football.

[player_tooltip player_id='1449724' first='Eli' last='Bell'], ATH, 6'3”, 195, Rock Creek, ‘25

Bell is an unranked athlete who was not on my radar at all, but he is extremely versatile. He lined up at receiver, tight end, and carried the ball from the tailback position. He also starts as one of the cornerbacks for Rock Creek. He is long and quick. If he bulks up I think tight end is where he might fit best at the college level. He also plays basketball and looks like the kind of athlete who could take over a game on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='904448' first='Ezra' last='Spiller'], LB, 6'0”, 210, Rock Creek, ‘26

Prep Redzone has Spiller ranked No. 36 overall in the class of 2026. He checks all the boxes as a collegiate prospect at linebacker. He is explosive moving downhill from his middle linebacker position. He can cover and wraps up on tackles.

Cordae Kirksey, DL/OL, 5'11”, 225, Rock Creek, ‘26

Kirksey is another unranked Mustang who caught my eye. He started on both the offensive and defensive lines. He plays with solid pad level. He played guard on the O-Line. He has a quick first step and had a couple of impressive blocks while pulling as the lead blocker. He played defensive end on the other side and his speed is his main asset on the line.
