Each week, we take a look at prospects that had an impressive Friday night on the gridiron. It was another busy week of high school football. We have plenty of prospects to highlight this week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='594778' first='Slade' last='Norwood']-Quarterback-Greenland-6'1” 170-Pounds-2027</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Redzone Arkansas was there on Friday night to watch [player_tooltip player_id='594778' first='Slade' last='Norwood'] showcase his throwing arm. Norwood had a strong showing. He fit the ball into tight windows most of the night. Norwood was 26 of 38 for 401 yards, 6 touchdowns, and 1 interception on the night. He continues to be a quarterback to watch out for over the next two seasons. Norwood has the potential to see playing time on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='361302' first='Grayson' last='Wilson']-Quarterback-Conway-6'3” 200-Pounds-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Conway signal caller continues to light up opposing defenses each week this season. Wilson was 15 of 25 for 304 yards and 4 touchdowns through the air. Meanwhile, he used his legs to tack on a touchdown on the ground for the Wampus Cats. Conway is a team to watch out for as conference play starts to heat up this season. Wilson is executing at a high level this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jacob Chenowith-Running Back-Mountain Home-6'0” 190-Pounds-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jacob Chenowith is a versatile prospect that has the ability to line up all over the field for the Bombers. Chenowith put in the work on Friday night for Mountain Home. He carried the ball 42 times for 267 yards and 5 touchdowns on the night. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball, Chenowith added an interception for the Bombers. He is a player to watch out for as the season heats up in conference play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='806079' first='Blake' last='Coughran']-Running Back-Prairie Grove-5'11” 165-Pounds-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prairie Grove Tigers had a dominant performance on both sides of the ball on Friday night. [player_tooltip player_id='806079' first='Blake' last='Coughran'] found the end zone on the night for the Tigers. He is the type of running back that does not go down on initial contact. Coughran has the ability to carry opposing defenders with him. He is a player to watch out for as the season progresses for an impressive Prairie Grove team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='221259' first='Cash' last='Archer']-Linebacker-Greenwood-6'2” 225-Pounds-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Greenwood linebacker continues to put his speed on display each week for the Bulldogs. He does an excellent job of defeating blocks and getting into the offensive backfield. Archer had another strong outing against Shiloh Christian on Friday night. He had 10 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 3 quarterback hurries, 1 forced fumble, and 1 pass break up. Archer is a player to watch out for on the defensive side of the ball for the Bulldogs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='718505' first='Brantlee' last='Phillips']-Quarterback-Mountain Home-6'4” 192-Pounds-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Mountain Home Bombers are off to an excellent start to the season. Signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='718505' first='Brantlee' last='Phillips'] can hurt you in a variety of ways. He has the arm strength and the accuracy to keep the opposing secondary honest. Meanwhile, he has the speed to cause problems for opposing defenders in the running game. On Friday, Phillips accounted for 225 yards of total offense and 3 touchdowns. He is having a great start to the season and is a player to watch out for as conference play heats up.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='740170' first='Marquez' last='Jackson Jr'].-Athlete-Lonoke-5'10” 168-Pounds-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Lonoke coaching staff always does a tremendous job of producing talented prospects on both sides of the ball. [player_tooltip player_id='740170' first='Marquez' last='Jackson Jr']. had a busy night on both sides of the ball on Friday. On the offensive side of the ball, he ran 14 times for 143 yards and 2 touchdowns. Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball, he had two pass breakups and an interception. He is a player to watch out for on both sides of the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='191634' first='Grant' last='Karnes']-Wide Receiver-Greenwood-6'0” 195-Pounds-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Greenwood Bulldogs had a tough matchup on Friday night this week. Greenwood and Shiloh Christian was the game to watch in the Natural State this week. [player_tooltip player_id='191634' first='Grant' last='Karnes'] had a busy night against the Saints. Karnes hauled in 10 receptions for 115 yards and 2 touchdowns on the night. Karnes does a great job of creating separation from opposing defensive backs. Greenwood continues to rack up the wins and is a team to look out for this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1282595' first='John' last='Cranford'] IV-Linebacker-Little Rock Hall-5'11” 215-Pounds-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1282595' first='John' last='Cranford'] IV is a versatile defender that can line up all over the field for Little Rock Hall. Cranford IV had a big night on Friday night. He lived in the offensive backfield. Cranford IV had 11 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 tackle for loss on the night. The ability to shift from the linebacker to the edge rush position continues to throw opposing offensive lineman off-balance. He is a player to watch out for as the season progresses.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1474793' first='Peyton' last='Zimmerman']-Wide Receiver-Fort Smith Southside-5'10” 175-Pounds-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Fort Smith Southside wide receiver had an impressive showing on Friday. Zimmerman has a great mix of route running and speed which causes plenty of headaches for opposing defenders. He has a knack for hauling in tough receptions each week. On Friday night, Zimmerman had 8 receptions for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns. However, he also had a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. He is a player to watch out for the remainder of the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='209346' first='Raylen' last='Thomas']-Running Back-Morrilton-5'10” 180-Pounds-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='209346' first='Raylen' last='Thomas'] had an impressive outing on Friday night this week. He is a running back that does a great job of making defenders miss. On Friday night, Thomas had 9 carries for 93 yards and 2 touchdowns. Thomas does a great job of getting into the second level. He will not go down on initial contact. Thomas is a player to watch out for as the season progresses.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='392413' first='Christian' last='Battles']-Running Back-Fayetteville-5'11” 225-Pounds-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Fayetteville running back has the potential to take it the distance every time he carries the football. Battles breaks tackles with ease and will drag defenders with him. The more that Battles carries the football he just gets stronger. On Friday night, Battles had 8 carries for 119 yards and 3 touchdowns on the night. Battles is a prospect to watch out for as the season progresses for the Bulldogs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='232211' first='Brandon' last='Cobb']-Quarterback-Pulaski Academy-6'4” 205-Pounds-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='232211' first='Brandon' last='Cobb'] is one of the most consistent signal callers in the state of Arkansas. He does a great job of reading the field. Meanwhile, he has the ability to pick apart the defense with his arm. On Friday night, Cobb was 25 of 34 for 349 yards and 5 touchdowns against North Little Rock. Cobb is having an impressive 2024 football season and is a player to watch out for the remainder of the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
