Mid-Season Stock Risers - Offense

<p>We are five weeks into the 2024 season within the natural state, from W0 to W4, which puts us back in the film room. This report will cover one riser within each position group of the offense. It can be a 2025 Senior all the way down to a 2028 Freshman. That said, here are five prospects that have raised their stock. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Quarterback:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1323417' first='Elijah' last='Moody'], a freshman, is starting at quarterback in high school and excelling. He and his team have only played two games this season due to a forfeit and a bye week as they head into week four 2-0. The young quarterback is a dual-threat who can hurt you with the deep ball or with his legs. Moody displays solid footwork within the pocket. He has good pocket mobility and can extend plays and continue to throw on the run with accuracy. Moody can hit all levels of the field with good ball placement, anticipation, and touch, showcasing his arm talent. Demonstrates good decision-making ability, showing command in the offense and choosing the right reads. He dominates the read option and will tuck and run if needed, displaying his good athletic ability. </p>   <p><strong>2024 Stat Line So Far: </strong>25/33 (76%), 381 yards (15.2 AVG), 6 TDs and 1 INT - 21 Carries, 343 yards (16.3 AVG) and 3 TDs. </p>   <p>Note - 3.7 GPA</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/elijahm12554818/status/1835348305150140575 </div></figure>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Running Back:</h2>    <p>[player_tooltip player_id='401206' first='Nikel' last='Lewis'] is a FBS/FCS talent and D2 at minimum. He's been again dominating the running game but is still flying under the radar. Lewis displays very good athletic ability due to very good foot speed, foot quickness, contact balance, change of direction, good burst, lateral agility, and acceleration. Good post-snap vision to read first-level defenders and locate the running lane quickly. He showcases a multi-cut ability to evade early penetration with good burst to attack the hole and separate from the first level. Lewis can beat second-level defenders to the sideline or up past the second level. He can quickly locate comeback lanes due to good vision, COD, lateral agility, and burst. Very good contact balance to withstand contact with active feet, good leg drive, and acceleration to break tackles and create extra yardage. Fielder displays a solid release due to solid foot quickness and acceleration to eat up space. He is a smooth and fluent route runner who can create separation at his breaks due to good COD, balance, dip, and burst, along with his length, giving his quarterback a window. Strong hands, good hand-eye coordination, ball tracking, and body control to adjust mid-route, catch vs. contest, or dominate the red zone. He can become a YAC threat due to solid upfield burst, lateral agility, good COD, and balance to withstand contact and create additional yardage. </p>   <p><strong>2024 Stat Line So Far:</strong> 37 receptions, 612 yards (16.5 YPC) and 6 TDs.</p>   <p>(No Social Media Found)</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Tight End:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='858815' first='Kelly' last='Smith'] has been showcasing his versatility all season, lining up out wide at the Y, H-Back, and inline. He displays a quick release off the LOS, showcasing good foot quickness and acceleration. His ball skills are evident at the catch point due to his strong hands, good hand-eye coordination, and body control, enabling him to win the contest or adjust mid-route. Smith poses a significant threat in the red zone due to his ability to win one-on-one jump balls or become a YAC threat. He displays solid initial quickness in both pass sets and run blocking. Solid pad level and UOH to create leverage and displace defenders out of gaps with active feet. HE will win base and down blocking consistently. His lower body strength and power allow him to drive defenders out of gaps. Solid and strong anchor due to solid lower and upper body strength with good balance to control the opposition.
