He is a true big body and red zone threat out wide. He can play the X or Z, attracting attention and occasional double teams but still winning at the point of catch. Morning displays a good and quick release, eating up space quickly due to good foot speed, foot quickness, and acceleration. He creates separation at his breaks (he doesn't need it) due to solid COD, balance, dip, and burst. Defensively, he displays good read and react ability with a sideline-to-sideline motor, putting himself in a position to make a play on the football. Physical at the POA, staying square with good technique. Offensively, he's a north and south runner, displaying solid vision to locate the running lane quickly with good burst. Good contact balance and leg drive to break tackles consistently. As an offensive lineman, he displays good hand placement and active feet with good lower body strength and power to displace defenders in the running game and create running lanes. Defensively, he can be a two-gap plug and will require double teams due to his ability to penetrate quickly and effectively, generating pressure for each rep. Cubit displays good full-body power off the snap, with good foot quickness and hand placement to create leverage, complemented by a rip move and good pad level that enables him to penetrate the backfield quickly. He demonstrates a strong lower body and the reach to overpower the offensive line, pushing them back into the pocket to generate pressure. His ability to outmaneuver the offensive line almost immediately after the snap, against both the run and pass, is impressive. He can play from the 2-7 Tech showcasing his versatility to play in the interior or off the EDGE.
