Canton vs Bedford Standout Players

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Canton</strong> defeated Bedford 31-28 this past Friday night. <strong>Canton </strong>lead 28-0 in the 1st quarter and <strong>Bedford </strong>came all the way back and ended up tying the game up at 28-28 late in the 4th quarter. <strong>Canton</strong> ended up kicking a go ahead field goal with less than 30 seconds to go in the game. He also had a long pass completion that went for a touchdown in the 1st quarter. He does a good job of pursuing ball carriers and securing tackles. He shows good play strength and has the ability to take on blockers. Dixon is a good athlete who is only a sophomore. He will make a lot of plays for this Bedford team, for several years. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Braylon Gilsdorf | Bedford </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gilsdorf scored the first <strong>Bedford</strong> touchdown that helped spark the comeback. Gilsdorf is a physical runner who can knows how to find the end zone. He scored 3 touchdowns total in this game and had 160 yards receiving. He came up big, late in the game, catching a key pass on 3rd down that kept <strong>Canton's</strong> drive going. He made a great throw on the run, on the touchdown reception to Spoonmore. He had a great touchdown run in the 3rd quarter that put<strong> Bedford</strong> just one score behind Canton. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Lucas Gerber | <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/15985135/Lucas-Gerber">Hudl </a>| Bedford</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gerber is a really good football player who plays running back and linebacker for this <strong>Bedford </strong>football team. He is a physical, hard hitting linebacker who made several tackles in this game. He had some good runs as well that played a key part in the comeback. Gerber plays on special teams as well for this Bedford team, showing how valuable he is for them. I enjoy watching Gerber compete and he is a guy that has elite competitive toughness. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
