1. [player_tooltip player_id='282728' first='TJ' last='Lateef'], Orange Lutheran

Lateef has been a top quarterback in the state for three years and when he's healthy, he's among the best in the nation. He was one of three Southern California representatives at the Elite 11 Finals in June and is committed to Nebraska. His accuracy from the pocket is top notch and he has the athleticism to make plays in the running game.

2. [player_tooltip player_id='270900' first='Dash' last='Beierly'], Mater Dei

Beierly transferred into Mater Dei from Chaparral and is committed to Washington. The ball jumps out of his hand and he is built like a linebacker. He has the arm strength to get the ball up the field while on the run and has the size to break tackles when running the ball. Beierly has experience against the top schools in the area and has multiple high-level receivers to throw to so I expect a big season from him.

3. [player_tooltip player_id='484412' first='Jackson' last='Kollock'], Laguna Beach

Kollock has a college level frame and the ball jumps out of his hand nicely. He had solid showings at the Elite 11 and Under Armour Next Camp. He is committed to Minnesota and he stands out when you watch Laguna Beach play. Kollock is losing a Power 4 commit tight end and will have a young team around him, but he's the best quarterback in a solid Foxtrot League.

4. [player_tooltip player_id='282704' first='Alonzo' last='Esparza'], Los Alamitos

Esparza doesn't have the size some of the above quarterbacks have but he is a gamer who inspires the teammates around him. His release is nice and high and he doesn't make many mistakes. He threw 28 touchdown passes and had just six interceptions in arguably the top public school league in the county. Esparza is committed to Cal.

5. [player_tooltip player_id='406664' first='Leo' last='Hannan'], Servite

Hannan is every bit of 6-foot-4 and has put on some serious muscle the last two offseasons. He has a big arm and can make accurate throws outside the numbers and drives the ball up the field. His timing is solid with his receivers and his field vision is very good. Hannan is committed to Michigan State and should have a big season in the second year under coach Chris Reinert.
