A top 30th ranked prospect for the class of 2027 Hill is legit and should be one of the top qbs in the state this fall. He already is 6'4 and did exceptional stepping in as a freshman starter in 2023. I would expect a big jump from Hill in year 2, with the hype train not losing any momentum. A little excerpt from what about him back in January:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>can see the field like he is a veteran of the game, cannot wait to see how he progresses for Woodbridge over the next few seasons. Selected as second team all district this past fall, Hill threw for 16 touchdowns and made some big time decisions down the stretch in the Vikings victory over Gar-Field. [player_tooltip player_id='1233029' first='Neyo' last='Williams'] looks ready to play at the next level, shows a lot of range in his coverage work. A rising senior who is poised for more a leadership role defensively for Woodbridge. A standout corner he has good footwork and he comes up and sticks ball carriers with no fear. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He is already established in the Vikings secondary what I believe he can elevate their offense is at running back. Johnson played a variety of roles for Alexandra City as a sophomore including running back, receiver and quarterback. Transferring in to play receiver and free safety for Coach Longerbeam has the makings of a great fit.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>At 6'2 and 180 lbs. he should step in nicely at receiver and be a nice target for Hill after they lost Saint Francis commit Denzel Lambert. We have gotten bigger, faster and stronger. Players have reached new maximum lifting weights. We switched up our off-season weight training programs and our players really bought in to the new system. We have incorporated new guys and young guys who never played varsity football before. They have acclimated themselves into the program and learned our system. We have five great new coaching additions to our staff who have come in and are working well with our players and coaches. The senior leadership has been invaluable this off-season. The players are holding each other to a higher standard and this should bode well&nbsp;for us and our future.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>We have a really, really tough first four games before we get into District play. We have a lot of respect for those coaches and teams. Our District will be tough and it's wide open this year. We know every game will be competitive and we will have to bring our A-game every week if we want to have a shot. Every Friday will be a tough opponent and there will be no cake-walk games. Our guys will have to be ready and focused each week. It doesn't get much easier from their but like Coach said the Cardinal district is wide open this season. That may be an understatement as you could ask 10 people within Prince William County and they would all give you a different answer to who is the conference favorite in 2024. The key will be the development of [player_tooltip player_id='1206155' first='Denari' last='Hill'] and if the young guys can step up around him. The last three seasons have ended without the playoffs for Woodbridge, look for the Vikings to change that this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
