Returning several key starters on offense, defense and special teams, you best believe Coach Helmick squad is looking for more. Since Coach took over in late 2020 he has built a winner over in Madison County. He has good hands and footwork, looks like he can be a major weapon heading into his senior season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He is more of an old school tight end who takes pride in his blocking, he is used a lot along the line of scrimmage. Ranked 15th overall among his fellow offensive linemen, Lewis stands at 6'4 and 260 lbs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This looks like a perfect match as Lewis should be protecting Finchum's blindside and help catapult the Mounties offense. While he has yet to obtain an offer yet, a year playing for Coach Helmick will change that. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Season Outlook:</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I admire what Head Coach Larry Helmick has done in his tenure for Madison County, a tenure I might add that has brought a rejuvenated fanbase. While the Mountaineers have reached postseason play the past two years, now is the time they take the next step. An offense that should be amongst the state leaders in points scored and a defense that returns many key contributors. I believe a Region semi-finals appearance or better will suffice for a successful season in Madison County. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
