Some things are changing around the football scene of Mississippi. There are some guys changing schools that we need to keep up with. Some of these transfers are going to help a lot.

[player_tooltip player_id='212363' first='Ashton' last='Moore']

Moore is a guy that is going from Alpharetta, GA to Brandon, Mississippi this year. Business just picked up for the Bulldogs. They are getting a 2026 guy that knows how to read keys on defense. He is going to be able to fill in holes when his team needs him to. He is also going to be able to get out there and cover. This is a linebacker that is already picking up several major division one offers. This is a young man to know this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='691276' first='Braylen' last='Williams']

Williams is making a couple of changes this season. He is going from Nettleton to Tupelo, and he will also be going from playing quarterback to the wide receiver and defensive back position. Mississippi State is recruiting him at the safety position. This is a young man that they can also put in the backfield and handle business. He is a guy that has been clocked at a 4.5 in the 40-yard dash. Williams is known for breaking off a lot of long runs. He has great vision on the field, and he is not a guy that is going to get caught from behind when is off to the races. This is a 2026 guy.

[player_tooltip player_id='920545' first='Nik' last='Owens']

Owens is a player that left Nettleton and settled in at Shannon. Shannon is going to get a lot better with this 6-foot-5, 275-pound stud holding down the interior defensive line. This is a guy that I like a lot. Owens is nasty in the trenches, and he brings a lot of strength and toughness. He is picking up major college interests. Owens has not received any power four offers, but that could change later in the year. He is a 2025 prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='648931' first='Anson' last='Lewis']

Lewis is going to be suiting up for Oak Grove this season. This is a player that college coaches are going to be keeping up with a lot. Lewis is going to be able to open up this offense for the Oak Grove Warriors. He is a player that coaches can get the ball to quickly and watch him do his thing. Lewis is also a receiver that has a lot of strength. He will not be easy for the average small high school defensive back to bring to the ground.
