Yesterday, the 2025 Kansas rankings update was published by Prep Redzone and includes 550 ranked athletes.

As explained in an earlier report, the Prep Redzone Kansas scouts will focus our scouting duties this season by position and geographical areas. I will be keying in on linebackers, defensive linemen, and offensive linemen.

So here is my debut report in a series of new features on offensive linemen titled “In The Trenches With Deck.” It features the five top-ranked offensive linemen in the class of 2025.

Stay tuned to Prep Redzone for a positional report on defensive linemen tomorrow.

[player_tooltip player_id='716598' first='Andrew' last='Babalola'], OL, 6'6”, 270, Blue Valley Northwest

The Blue Valley Northwest prospect is ranked No. 3 overall. He is a mountain of a left tackle and was built to be a blind-side protector. He has numerous Division I offers from Georgia, Alabama, and Iowa. The five-star recruit has yet to announce a verbal commitment. He is quick and super strong. He is similar to the best predators finishing off any object in his grasp.

[player_tooltip player_id='570244' first='Brock' last='Heath'], OL, 6'5”, 250, Blue Valley Northwest

Heath is currently ranked No. 11 overall and has verbally committed to Kansas State University. Heath is a quick guard able to get to the second level and is an excellent pulling guard. He plays to the whistle and loves finishing off blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='285568' first='Jacob' last='Hawks'], OL, 6'8”, 315, Washburn Rural

Hawks is ranked No. 22 overall in the class of 2025. Hawks is a long, strong, and a solid pass blocker. Washburn Rural should be a team that wants to chuck the ball down the field on a regular basis, so he will get plenty of opportunities to show off his skills. He has been getting interest from Division II programs, but don't be surprised if a few FCS teams start knocking on his door.

[player_tooltip player_id='716775' first='Drayton' last='Knoll'], OL, 6'5”, 305, Holcomb

The Holcomb prospect is currently ranked No. 25 overall. Knoll enjoys extra syrup on his pancake blocks. He is a stout guard and can also play defensive tackle. I like his combination of size and speed. He is a physical specimen who can be a match-up problem for smaller opponents. He has multiple college offers including Utah State and KU's week one opponent Lindenwood.

[player_tooltip player_id='285567' first='Caden' last='Estrada'], OL, 6'1”, 270, Washburn Rural

Estrada is an impressive guard who is ranked No. 35 overall. I love his ability to pull and seal off the edge. He has the speed to get to the linebackers and defensive secondary. He has an offer from Benedictine and has seen interest from FCS and Division II programs.
