Friday Night Prospects to Watch

<p>Football is officially back; most teams will kick off at 7 p.m. tonight. In this report, we will cover seven prospects to watch throughout the state of Arkansas as they look to win and impress college scouts. </p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1411713' first='Aiden' last='Pullin'] and Shiloh Christian face Farmington tonight and he is a young prospect to watch. He displays explosive power off the snap, with good foot quickness, pad level, and hand placement to create leverage that enables him to penetrate the backfield quickly by shedding his block. He demonstrates a strong lower body as he can drive the OL back into the pocket to create pressure. Lonoke stays at home to face Stuttgart to start off the season. Over the film, Boyles Jr displays good initial quickness off the line of scrimmage, allowing him to create leverage quickly with good UOH. He is a strong base blocker due to his good lower body power, pad level, and UOH to displace defenders. Has the quickness and angles to seal the edge. Fulks has an impressive mixture of speed, athleticism, and strength out wide and averaged over 15 YPC last season. He displays good acceleration off his release with good foot quickness to eat up space quickly and get to the stem of his route. He also demonstrates the ability to create separation off his breaks due to good COD, balance, bend, and burst. Burton is a young prospect who can become elusive out of the slot. He displays solid acceleration and good foot quickness off of his release. Many eyes will be on the running backs, but the versatile Denton is a critical player to watch. He plays quarterback out of the wildcard formation, wide receiver, and defensive back. Good athletic ability due to good acceleration, lateral agility, balance, burst, and strong hands. He's quick and elusive on offense, as he can make defenders miss consistently in space. Thomas has very good length, good athletic ability, and power in the trenches. He displays his mobility and lateral agility when pulling or in zone running to take the correct angles. He demonstrates explosion and acceleration off the LOS with good pad level, hand placement, and a strong punch to displace defenders. Due to his length, good hand timing, and placement, with good footwork, he's able to create leverage instantly. Robinson and [player_tooltip player_id='205133' first='Tyson' last='Bradden'] look to get back on track this season as they face a powerhouse in Pulaski Academy. Bradden is a dual-threat quarterback who displays a smooth deep ball with a quick release and touch to layer it over second-level defenders. He steps into his throws with good hip torque to generate velocity on the ball. Consistently puts his wide receivers in YAC opportunities due to his anticipation across all field levels.
