Daytona Beach Halifax Is Ready

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When the 2024 off-season began, Daytona Beach Halifax Academy head coach <strong>Lawrence Garner</strong> and his football team had a great feeling about the upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A productive spring and summer on top of a 7-3 season in 2023 left the Knights returning players and newcomers with a belief that this season would only continue to set the table for the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>That future began last weekend at <strong><em>Florida Citrus Sports Media Days</em></strong> at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Garner didn't hold back when talking about his team. He told the media that “something special is unfolding in Volusia County, and his program is only getting better.”</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Remember, this program won seven of the first eight games – before dropping a pair of contests to district champion Melbourne Central Catholic.<br><br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While this program is still young and has a way to go, they figure the success will come from the senior class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There is plenty of talent and leadership with those 2025 players.
