Bridgewater Lifts Miami Northwestern

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When the news hit the small Miami Dade community of Liberty City at the end of 2023 that one of its own was coming home, this tight knit community was once again on its way back.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Without a state playoff game for the first time in decades, there was a hollow feeling for one of the most ardent football fan bases in the country.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Through the years, Miami Northwestern has sent standards with prospects and state titles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Walk the halls of this school and you will see what football means. Memories of the hundreds of gifted football players who put this football program on the map on the map – nationally – can be felt with every step.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When the season came to an end, it was one of those students that stepped up and came to the rescue.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Teddy Bridgewater</strong> is not your normal athlete who has done well and forgot where he came from. Since leaving for the University of Louisville, and NFL stops in Minnesota, Carolina, New Orleans, Miami and Detroit have always been about his hometown and those who make up this special community.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Whether it was making children and adults happy with gifts or giving his alma mater plenty of attention - in and out of the classroom - this native son has always returned.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>At last Saturday's Football Hotbed Media Day, Bridgewater met the press.
