August Edition: 2027 Under the Radar

In this article, we are going to highlight several 2027 prospects that may be flying under the radar. Here are several players to watch out for this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1278415' first='Will' last='Caston']-Linebacker-Fayetteville-6'2'' 175-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1278415' first='Will' last='Caston'] has impressive speed at the linebacker position. He does a great job of getting away from blocks. Caston gets sideline to sideline and pursues the ball carrier in impressive fashion. He reads the play well and puts himself in position to make the tackle. Caston is able to plug up rushing lanes or drop back into pass coverage. The Fayetteville Bulldogs always have talent at the linebacker spots and this season does not appear to be any different.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1234255' first='Aidan' last='Ault']-Linebacker-Fountain Lake-5'10” 155-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1234255' first='Aidan' last='Ault'] always seems to put himself in position to bring down the ball carrier. Ault does a nice job of reading the play and reacting to whether it will be a run or a pass. Ault sheds blocks and gets into the offensive backfield quickly. He is a linebacker that has the speed to drop back into pass coverage. Ault has the potential to put up some big numbers on the defensive side of the ball this upcoming season for Fountain Lake.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1249496' first='Braylon' last='Bennett']-Defensive Line-Watson Chapel-6'2” 265-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1249496' first='Braylon' last='Bennett'] is an athletic prospect on the defensive line for Watson Chapel. Bennett has an impressive mix of quickness and power. He is able to defeat blocks to disrupt the opposing offensive backfield. Bennett is able to play the tackle or end positions with good effectiveness on the defensive side of the ball. He is a prospect that will likely earn some playing time on both sides of the ball this upcoming season. He has the ability to play all along the defensive front for the Leopards. Hathcock gets away from blocks and into the offensive backfield to pressure the opposing quarterback. He is a defender that can set the edge and shut down the opponent's rushing attack. He is a patient running back that allows the rushing lanes to develop before exploding through the hole. Meanwhile, he has the receiving ability to be split out wide and used effectively in the passing game. He is a difficult running back to bring down and has no trouble making the initial defender miss. Noble is a prospect with the potential to open plenty of eyes for the Razorbacks this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
