August Edition: 2025 Under the Radar

The class of 2025 has a large percentage of the spotlight focused on them this season. In this article, we are going to shine a spotlight on several players to watch for this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1365273' first='Justice' last='Hillis']-Defensive Line-Conway-6'1” 220-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Conway edge rusher is a prospect that can defend effectively against the run as well as the pass. Hillis has the quickness to defeat blocks with ease. He is a disruptive force in the opposing offensive backfield. Hillis does not give up on a play and uses his quickness to haul down the ball carrier. He has the strength to drive opposing blockers into the offensive backfield. Hillis is a defensive lineman to watch out for this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='627050' first='Ashton' last='Stein']-Offensive Line-Greenwood-6'4” 250-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='627050' first='Ashton' last='Stein'] will be entering his third year as a starter on the offensive line for the Greenwood Bulldogs this season. Stein is an intelligent offensive lineman that plays with a chip on his shoulder. He uses his speed to his advantage to keep opposing defensive linemen out of the backfield. Stein does a great job of clearing rushing lanes for his running backs. Meanwhile, he uses his hands well to keep pass rushers away from his quarterback. Stein is a prospect to watch out for this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='503573' first='Ronny' last='Anokye']-Running Back-Little Rock Christian-5'8” 210-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='503573' first='Ronny' last='Anokye'] is entering his senior season healthy. During his sophomore season, Anokye rushed for 1,300 yards and found the end zone 12 times. He is a running back that uses his power well to break tackles. Anokye is a patient runner that can burst into the second level with ease. Anokye has impressive patience when allowing the rushing lane to develop. I expect a strong season from the Little Rock Christian running back. Anokye has the ability to produce a 1,500-yard season this season and I expect him to do just that.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='289989' first='Dawson' last='Birmingham']-Defensive Back-Fayetteville-5'10” 170-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Fayetteville defensive back is a prospect that has no problem playing opposing wide receivers physically. Birmingham uses his hands well to jam opposing wide receivers at the line of scrimmage. He has a good mix of speed and agility to shift directions in pass coverage. Birmingham does a great job of playing the ball while it is in the air. He is a cornerback that can pick off a pass and take it back in the opposite direction. Birmingham is a player to watch out for this season for the Bulldogs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1116823' first='Axley' last='Davis']-Offensive Line-Heber Springs-6'4” 285-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1116823' first='Axley' last='Davis'] is a mainstay on the Heber Springs offensive line. He explodes out of the stance and gets into opposing defenders. Davis has the power to redirect opposing pass rushers and keep them out of the offensive backfield. He has speed that will surprise opposing pass rushers. Davis plays with a chip on his shoulder. He is looking to finish off one block and find another defender to block at the second level. Davis is a prospect to watch out for this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
