Arlen Harris’ 2029 Backfield Bullies Volume 4 (8/26/24)

With the Class of 2029 showing they are loaded with paramount ball carries from around the country, it has afforded me the opportunity to go down this rabbit hole of talent and keep searching for the who's and who hasn't yet been evaluated or highlighted to be a player to know. Backfield Bullies are exactly that, we line up behind or next to the signal caller waiting for an opportunity to bulldoze defenses on the ground or air. However you want it, these young players will meet you where your at, no apologies. RUN IT!    Coming off two major offers this month from Miami & Ole Miss, B.J. is primed for a season to remember. Running Backs run deep in the South, but Florida is a staple for well rounded ball carriers like Mr. Wilson who can do it all. I'm a fan of his smooth stride. He knows when to smash on the gas or lean off of it to allow things to materialize in front of him. This X-Factor has game breaking contact balance, vision, and speed. He's up! Catch him if you can because his stock will only rise after each week.       Explosive back that carries the pigskin with a purpose. I like how he finishes runs and makes himself available in the passing game. Above average ball skills and looks comfortable running double move routes. Edmund shows off strong legs pulling through tackles and finding creases to dart through, which typically finds his way to the first down marker or end zone.     Listen here…K.B. Jr. has wiiiiiiiggle. This young man has elite foot work and agility. He can change directions at a moments notice and will lower his shoulder the next second to get everything out of his carry as possible. A two yard play will have some highlighted moves in it. Kruise also has good hands and makes it look easy catching the ball out the backfield. Fun to watch!     After Caden's Top 10 Highlight on ESPN last season, he's been keeping everyone on notice that he has big time potential. I believe he can stand out no matter what environment you place him in. He runs naturally with low hips and a forward lean. His jump cuts get crowd reactions every time. Caden is a smart football player with a great build and tangibles to fit in multiple schemes. Success has followed him in the camp, 7on7 scenes and it's just a matter of time he's a household name outside of the Mid-West region.     Blake is a reclass pro style back that can wear down defenses fairly quick. His size can intimidate, however, he has the skill set to back it up. Watching him make tacklers arms look like wet noodles doesn't get old. Taking him down with one person is not likely and he has a burst to go with his physicality. Banging in those cold temperatures up North makes him a must have in any backfield. This kid has a lot to offer and works hard.
