There are going to be some guys who do a great job of helping their 9th grade squads this season. It is going to be interesting to see them have a good year with their guys. Especially after the seasons that they had last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1006384' first='Tyson' last='Hunter']

Hunter is a big boy from Tupelo who has some decent speed and nice size. We are going to see Hunter running the football a lot. He is a guy with good vision, and he is aggressive. Hunter is a 5-foot-9, 170-pound guy who you can tell is advanced on the field. You will not see him out there being lost. We do not know if we will see him getting any action with the varsity squad, but we are sure that he could definitely help them out if they needed him to. Hunter is going to be one of the best in this class.

[player_tooltip player_id='466477' first='Max' last='Williams']

Williams is a dude from Tupelo who I think is going to be a defensive lineman when it is all said and done. We can see Williams line up at a lot of different positions for his 9th grade squad. However, you can look at him and tell that he is going to continue to get taller and bigger. With the right weight room program, this kid can grow into a nasty edge player who is also going to be able to move around with speed and quickness. We have also been able to see him play offense and see how he moves on offense. That is what makes me believe that is he is going to be very valuable on the defensive line. There will not be a lot of guys that can keep him out of the backfield if he gets the right training.

Jamorrie Dennis

Dennis is a player who has been a fan favorite for a long time. This is a feisty player who we suggest you guys go ahead and get familiar with. This is a dude that has a big mouth and big game in a small frame. We do not need that to discourage coaches from keeping an eye on him. We mention coaches already because this dude has power four talent. However, that is my opinion as well as others might I add. Dennis has already been clocked at a 4.5 in the 40-yard dash. The thing is, he is only 5-foot-6. So, we know that there will be people who sleep on him. Do not count on that. He could very well be a big-time offer guy from the door. He has what it takes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1025988' first='Pervis' last='Holmes']

Holmes is a stud that is at Winston Academy. He is a guy who also excels in baseball. That shows us that he has a lot of focus. He comes from an athletic background and understands the game. Right now, we have Holmes listed as an athlete. We are going to keep a close eye on him to see what position ends up being the best for him. We have noticed that he has been working out at the receiver position a lot. Holmes has good hands, good vision and decent speed. He is a 2028 Mississippi prospect to keep your eyes on.
