2027 Prospects To Keep An Eye On This Season

There a lot of guys in this group that we think are going to play division one football one day. He is a player from West Jones that led his team to a state championship victory last season. Lindsey is a quarterback that we were able to see be very poised last season. He is not a guy that is out there rattled. Lindsey can complete the passes that his coaches need him to make. He also makes things happen with is feet. This is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound guy that we are going to keep a close eye on.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1237190' first='Deshawn' last='Dillon']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dillon is a receiver in this class that has been seeing his stock rise. He is one of the best receivers in the nation for this class. Dillon is a nice route runner that works very hard on being a magician in that department. He is a guy that we think is going to keep on getting better as a route runner. Dillon has good speed, and he also is a good basketball player. You can see a lot of athleticisms in this kid when he is in motion. Northwest Rankin is lucky to have him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1237199' first='Trae' last='Collins']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Collins is a defensive back from Hazlehurst that college coaches are going to be getting a close eye on this season. Collins knows how to be a pest on the islands and an overseer at safety. He is a young man that does not mind coming up to make hits. Collins has decent speed with good size. He is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound guy that is going to continue to grow. He already holds division one offers. We think that more are going to roll in for him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1237975' first='DJ' last='Perkins']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Perkins is a defensive back from McComb that showed us his game when he pulled up to the Prep Redzone Combine in Jackson, Mississippi this past April. Perkins is a guy that knows how to excel in zone and man coverage. He knows how to step up and handle business in press coverage as well as playing off. Perkins is a guy that does not mind making tackles. We think that Perkins is a guy that is going to start receiving some division one offers soon. He is a 5-foot-8, 160-pound guy that we are going to be keeping our eyes on.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
