The class of 2026 in the state of Illinois has a strong offensive line class. We breakdown the tape from prospects across the state including here in 2026 Film Room: West Suburbs Offensive Lineman!

[player_tooltip player_id='401605' first='Gene' last='Riordan'] (Hinsdale Central – 6'5” 275)

Riordan is a right tackle that can also kick into guard. He is a good athlete that is very technically sound. Brings physicality at the point of attack and plays with a nasty streak. Locks on to his man and drives them. Upside as a pass protector with his footwork and athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='801979' first='Cooper' last='Paukstis'] (Wheaton St. Francis – 6'3” 245)

Extremely impressive tape from Paukstis. At 6'2" 245 pounds he is a little shorter and light, but the tools are elite. He plays left tackle and from a skill standpoint he has elite pass blocking tools. Great kick slide, feet, and athleticism. Typewriter like footwork. Might have to kick inside to guard, but has power 4 lineman written all over him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1120487' first='Ryan' last='Myers'] (Batavia – 6'5” 275)

Myers has a lot of intriguing tools at 6'5" 275 pounds. Good size and plays with a mean streak. Ability to get to the second level from his right tackle spot and is a solid pass blocker.

Josh Schwendeman (Glenbard South – 6'5” 250)

Like the upside of this right tackle from Glenbard South. Legit size at 6'5" 250 with a frame to carry more strength. Nice length which he uses well in pass blocking. Gets to the second level in the run game.

[player_tooltip player_id='537226' first='Damian' last='Nieves'] (Riverside Brookfield – 6'0” 240)

Nieves brings a strong and stocky frame to the table. Plays right tackle but probably projects best at guard. Solid in pass pro with his movement skills and lateral footwork. Has some nasty to him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1400020' first='Wrigley' last='Zamora'] (Glenbard North – 6'1” 265)

Zamora is a 6'1" left guard that brings a strong and stocky frame with good length. Solid in pass protection using that length. In the run he does a nice job of driving defenders off the line in the run game.

[player_tooltip player_id='401602' first='Declan' last='Smith'] (St. Charles North – 6'3” 210)

Smith is a 6'3" left guard that provides good athleticism and movement skills. Like what he brings as a lead blocker when pulling in the run game. He is solid in pass with his technique and ability to anchor. Gets opponent on the ground at line of scrimmage.

[player_tooltip player_id='1400865' first='Jovani' last='Dones'] (Naperville North – 6'0” 240)

Dones is a physical and athletic right guard that pancakes dudes on a regular basis. Very good in the run game moving bodies and driving them well past the line of scrimmage.

[player_tooltip player_id='801885' first='Michael' last='Harris'] (Marmion Academy – 6'3” 265)

Harris is a super strong 6'3" 265 pound tackle. Very physical in run as he was throwing guys down consistently.

[player_tooltip player_id='801982' first='Jack' last='Sciortino'] (Benet – 6'3” 225)

The Benet right tackle has nice height and length at 6'3". Will need to add on considerable strength, but has the frame to do so. Mirrors well in pass protection.

Samuel Ramirez (Marmion Academy – 5'11” 245)

Ramirez is an undersized offensive lineman that at 5'11" projects best at center. Versatile offensive lineman that brings toughness and grit at the pivot.

James Hillsman (Lyons - 5'11” 260)

Hillmann is an undersized 5'11" 260 pound left guard that has good strength and solid athleticism. Gets to the second level and has overall good mobility. Can get guys on the ground at the line of scrimmage with his toughness.
